WELCOME TO HELL,BROWN HAIR

1179 Words
Jax’s Pov. I was angry, waking up to the news my beta gave me. I was f*****g angry, fuming. If not for this meeting, I would have been on my way to the Shadenight pack to ruin them, and yet, the moon goddess picked this time to kid me. For the first time in my existence, I was dumbfounded. I just stood there, staring at her as she entered the room. I had rehearsed everything and practiced how to look as if I was shocked and surprised, and I also learned how to compliment her for looking so beautiful, even if it was fake. But now, staring at her changed everything, and the words I needed to say and had rehearsed with my beta, Callus, all night long flew off my brain. I had no idea where to start describing her. In just one word, she looked like the goddess herself. Her brown hair was styled into multiple curls and then packed into a bun, and her round lips were tinted in some color that rhymed with the freckles on her face. And those eyes, damn. Her eyes were the second thing I liked about her, after her hair, and they looked so gorgeous, the brown bulging out probably because of the extra lashes done on it, and her dress, her cleavage, her... her... “Your Highness,” My beta cut me off from my thoughts. I cleared my throat, forcefully tearing my eyes away from her to face the elders. “You’ve asked me to bring a bride, and even though I would like not to answer that, I’ve been alone for too long, and other packs would think it’s a weakness, and there you have it, Amelia Vantalaski –” I clenched my jaw, recalling what my beta had told me this morning. No wonder she looked so different, acted differently, and challenged me. The f*****g alpha had given me his other twin daughter instead of the one I requested for. “– daughter of Alpha Milan Vantalaski and Mia Vantalaski, and the Luna to-be of this pack.” What annoyed me most was the fact that they did not tell her any f*****g thing about the plan we had. I walked closer to her, taking her hand in mine before facing the elders again, “I hope you’re now satisfied.” I walked her to the chair beside mine, ignoring the rumbling fury in me and pushing her chair outwards for her to sit down. “Miss Amelia, have you been told why you’re here?” Elder Mark questioned. Her eyes found mine, questions filling them up before returning to the elders, “I don’t quite get what is happening here. I was just woken up this morning, dressed up, and brought to this room without breakfast, so nope, I don’t quite get it.” I grumbled under my breath, my wolf furiously raging in me. If she f****d up my plan here because of whatever her parent caused. “You’re here to provide an heir for this pack. In simple terms, a breeder, and our Luna.” “What a way to tell her, Elder Mark.” “What?!” My hand held her down before she could get out of the chair, our eyes clashing momentarily. I forced down every part of me that wanted to focus on her face and glared at her, hoping and making sure it sank straight into her brain. I would f*****g kill her if she dared to put on any f*****g attitude or assume this was the best time to run her mouth. “If you f*****g say anything or ruin this for me, I will send you to hell, and you’ll hate yourself for it,” I said between clenched teeth. She snapped her hand away from mine, standing up and slamming her palms on the hardened table, “I don’t know anything about this deal. I’m just a lady sold to this man, your alpha, with no details of what to do, so please, I don’t have any idea of this deal with them. He did not inform me, and my parents were not informed that he had this idea for their daughter, if not –” “– Then I’m afraid, Your Highness, you’ve not satisfied us at all.” The elder caught her off, and they all stood up in unison, exiting the room and leaving her standing there and me sitting. Rage boiled in me, my jaw clenching and unclenching, my inner beast wanting to pound on her. “Well, at least I can eat now,” she spoke up, multiplying the anger in me. “Do you have any idea what you’ve done?” I seethed out, my hand rubbing my forehead dangerously. “So now you’re angry after sending me off with an empty stomach last night? After laying down your own rules with no attempt to listen to mine?! And now you’re angry?” Amelia’s Pov. I have heard various stories of the devil, but I had thought of what to do when I finally met one. His eyes glowed red as they met mine, and a deep chill ran down my spine. “I told you... to f*****g listen... I told you to f*****g sit.” He stood up from the chair. “It was a plan, a f*****g plan that you had to come and ruin! Is this why you’re hated in your pack? Because of your f*****g attitude?” “You know nothing about me, Jax. Nothing at all.” I said right into his face, my eyes starting to sting with tears. His lips curled up in a devilish smile, a dark chuckle escaping them as he moved closer to me, our faces not more than an inch away. “Firstly, your parents had the nerve to switch you up, giving me a f*****g spoilt brat. And now, you had the nerve to ruin my deal. To ruin my plan.” He laughed loudly, bringing his hand forward and trailing it from my hair down to my face, his dark and cunning orbs not leaving mine for a second. “You should have listened to me, Amelia. I planned on being so sweet with you, and I was even starting to like you. But now, you had to ruin it. You had to open that your mouth I was starting to like and ruin it.” I gulped, and all the nerves I had before to always respond, throw words back at him, and stand up for myself immediately shoved down my stomach. “You have no idea what I am and who I can be, brown hair.” He added, patting down my hair with a smile complimenting his dark look. He grinned at me, freeing me of himself by walking towards the door, and my heart shook at the sight of his back turned away from me before he stopped, and once again, his eyes were staring into mine. “Welcome to hell.”
