Chapter 10- Honeymoon in the island

When I realised that I have to bid goodbye to my family tears had already started tickling. But the knowledge of 2 months of honeymoon just blows my mind out. I will not be able to see my family for 2 months. I have never been away from my family and to part away with them made me homesick. I am just going to be with the man who I hate the most for two whole months.

“Where are they going?” It's my mom asking to no one in particular.

“First they will be going to spend one week in one of the island owned by the family. It’s our family tradition.” Mrs Cooper replied this time in a gentle way.

“When are they leaving?” My dad asked.

“In a few minutes, a chopper is waiting on the top of the hotel for them” Mr Cooper answered this time. I couldn't believe my ears. I have to bid a goodbye to all now. I am just hoping that I could video chat with them when Mark, Daniel’s cousin broke my wish.

“Say a healthy goodbye as you will not be able to contact them for next one week. There are no signal functions on the island. We could contact them only by going there personally.”

I hugged my each family member with teary eyes and bid a goodbye. Next I bid my farewell to the Cooper family. Mrs Cooper hugged me for the first time. I was just happy with her action. It’s the first time I am seeing a soft side of her. She let me go from her hold and took my hands and said in a low voice so that only I can hear her. 

“I will be expecting for the good news as soon as possible.” I looked her with a startled eye while she continued.

“I could see a younger version of myself in you. Whenever you feel a need of a shoulder just come to me. And remember you are the last hope of a dying man”

I didn’t understand a single word she said. I wanted to ask her what she meant but Daniel pulled me back and took my hand in his and waved goodbye to all. He led me to the elevator. Once again we are alone in the family elevator. My heart skipped a beat as it took a fast pace. My heart is pounding so fast that I feared Daniel would hear it. He said to me as if he read my mind.

“Don't worry. I will not kiss you here. We have got two long months for doing it in tremendous ways.” Hearing his words I blushed. I could see myself becoming darker shade of red in the reflection on the elevator door. Seeing me blushing he had a small smile in the corner of his lips.

A chopper is waiting for us on the roof of the hotel. It's my first time I am seeing a chopper this near and couldn't believe that it's waiting for me. As soon as we got in the chopper, it took off. I am sitting with Daniel alone in the chopper except for the pilot. It's my first time to fly and I feel excited. But an unknown fear engulfs me as I realise the fact that I am going to be with this cold man for the next two months. Is he an angel or a devil? Time will reveal itself. Am I ready for a relationship now? Am I ready to take new responsibilities? No, I need time and I have to make this man realise that.

I didn't get any time to take any precautionary measures to avoid the unwanted. Now what am I going to do? How could I stop him? I will have to prepare myself. I should be tough and hide my weakness. 

We reached our destination after I think about 2 hours. I am just tired and exhausted that I just wanted to fall asleep. I can't see much of the island as it is night. I could hear the sea and feel the salty breeze. Chopper landed on the helipad which I had seen from the top as it is surrounded by big flashlights. Daniel got out of the chopper first and helped me out. He took me to a car waiting for us. I got into the car first followed by Daniel.

Car stopped in front of a luxurious villa. Fleet of steps led to the huge door of the villa. It looks like the villa is being built in the mediaeval periods. The architecture is not modern but the renovations made have given it a modern touch. I wanted to enjoy the beauty of villa but I felt tired even to look it. 

A row of maids stood at the entrance probably waiting for us. When we got out of the car, a middle aged man came to us with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. He greeted us with bowing his head.

“Welcome to the newly wedded Mr and Mrs Cooper. I am Jacob your butler, Mrs Cooper.” He gave me the bouquet and led us inside the villa. As we entered the maids bowed their heads and greeted us.

Daniel asked one of the maids to take me to the bedroom. I entered the luxurious room decorated with white lilies and red roses giving the most wonderful ambience to a newly married couple. Anyone will feel romantic just by entering this room. But I couldn’t enjoy the beauty of the room as I am tired from the nonstop tiring long day. I just wanted to fell down on the bed. I was pulled out of my thoughts by the maid’s voice.

“I am Lucy. If you need anything just press the bell.” The maid said and was about to leave when Daniel came in and said to her

“Help Mrs Cooper get out of the gown.” She nodded and came to help me. The dress is really heavy and holding it for the whole day had made my muscles to pain. I really need to get out of this heavy dress. I always admired the beautiful brides and their dress. But now I know how hard it is to wear and flaunt with a smile.

Lucy unzipped my gown which instantly fell down all through my body. I stepped out of the gown and now I stood just in my lacy inner wear. I could see Daniel staring at me and I felt uncomfortable. It is the first time I am standing in front of man in just my lingerie. Lucy walked over to the closet and got a red night gown for me and put it nicely on the bed and wishing us a goodnight she left slowly closing the door. Now I am again alone with Daniel in this room. I just want to sleep but didn't dare to stay only in this white lacy under garments. I glanced at Daniel who was still staring at me and I quickly took the night gown and went to the washroom. 

The washroom is huge with a Jacuzzi. I am seeing one for the first time. If I am not tired, I would have soaked myself in it. I have the time to enjoy the Jacuzzi as we are in the island for one week. So, I took a quick shower and the warm water really eased my throbbing nerves. I patted myself dry and wrapped a dry towel to my long wet hair. Then I put on the red lacy night dress which barely covered my body. The dress is perfectly designed for a romantic night. When I came out of the washroom Daniel is standing just in his boxers. He looks so hot and I can't just take my eyes off him. He resembled like the Greek God in the pictures. He had perfect body sculpture that any girl would dream of. He has a well maintained body with perfect abs.  He winked at me and said in a sexy voice.

“Wait for me.” and he entered the washroom.

I walked to the bed on which there is a heart made with rose petals in the middle. I didn’t bother to touch it. So I lay down on the one side of the king sized bed still wrapped my hair in the towel. It felt relaxing on this soft bed. I wanted to keep my drowning eyes open but I couldn’t and at last I slipped down to the world of dreams as I fell asleep. I wanted my pillow in the middle of the sleep which I got after wandering all through the bed.

Next day when I woke up I found myself lying beside a sexy Daniel. My head is on his chest and it felt really good. He held me tight with his one hand. I looked at him and he is still sleeping. I just looked down on my body and surprisingly found my red night gown in place. A sigh of relief left me. I looked back at the man beside me. He looks heavenly and I am afraid how long I could resist his charm. I am just going to fall for this man who I hated till yesterday.
