Chapter Thirty-Two “Yeah, but what do you enjoy?” I asked, resting my elbow on the table. I pulled my drink over with my other hand, grabbing the plastic straw and pulling off the wrapper. “I mean, besides coffee.” Ian looked down at the coffee mug before looking back up at me. “I like you.” My face felt hot. I lifted my drink, taking a sip of the cool ice water. Setting it back down on the table. “Like hobbies?” “Oh, uh. I like to swim. Does that count?” “It does. If you could go anywhere right now. Where would it be?” I asked, wondering if he would choose somewhere exciting or exotic. Ian traced his finger along the grating on the table. “I don’t think that there is anywhere else I would want to be right now.” I looked away from him, running my finger over the condensation that
