Chapter Thirty-Three Her fingers moved over his hand, squeezing it before she pushed up onto her toes. Her lips pressed against his cheek. He turned to look at her and she brought her hand up to touch the cheek she had just kissed. Ian didn’t pull away. He listened to whatever she was saying. Nodding his head, that sinking feeling returned. Delany tapped his cheek with her fingertips before looking over at me and giving a finger wave and a smile that was as fake as the way that she spoke to Ian. I wondered what she was up to.
