“I want to buy another wedding ring set for me and Violet. I guess she lost her wedding ring back then,” I told my father while having breakfast with him. “Are you sure that she will agree to wear that?” he asked me bluntly, making me glare at him. He scoffed and continued eating his breakfast leisurely.
I also looked down at my breakfast with a gloomy expression. I saw Violet’s fingers yesterday night. There was no trace of wearing ring in her ring finger. She was unconscious when she was rescued and also she had amnesia after she recovered. It was understandable why she didn’t have any memory of her wedding and wedding ring in those conditions.
