I hated women who behaved like this, but I didn’t want to show my disdain for her. “Please have a seat, Ms. Luther.” I gestured to her by my hand for her to sit down on the sofa behind her. She nodded, and we both walked towards the sofa. I took the single seat and sat down after opening the buttons of my suit jacket. She also sat down but she chose to sit on the corner of the sofa near me. Max also stood up behind the single seat. “Will your assistant always follow you in all your meetings?” she asked me in a curious tone while tilting her head. I slowly moved my legs a little away from her legs, ensuring a safe distance between our legs.
