Avery’s P.O.V.
“I wanted you to move on, and start living a normal life, without any shadow of the past, but didn’t expect that my small wish would bring so much trouble for both of us. I am sorry, love, but this matter has reached beyond my control. They are desperate to find your whereabouts. I should have listened to you,” Dad said in a regretful tone.
I sighed while rubbing my forehead. I was having a severe headache right now. Both Dave and Sebastian were determined to find out my whereabouts. “Have you thought about what explanation will you give them for hiding me all these years?” I asked him in an exhausted tone.
“I…. I don’t know, Avery….. I really don’t know…. It’s not like they can harm me in any way. I can deal with Sebastian but handling Dave will be hard for both of us,”
