Cassidy usually woke at six o’clock in the morning. Today, with Jared in the house, Kate wanted to be prepared.
At five thirty, she showered and dressed, putting on gray pants, a pale pink blouse, a silver necklace, and matching earrings. She brushed a mineral powder foundation over her face before adding a touch of blush and lip gloss. Early for a Saturday, but walking around in her nightshirt didn’t seem like a smart idea, especially after Jared had checked out her legs last night. Thank goodness she’d shaved.
