They go out to a local restaurant and eat together. Ronan talks a little about being a cop, how they are taught to investigate, and the clues the Phoenix cops might have missed. And he tells a few cop stories, none too personal, but from his years as a cop—Dustin seems to find them interesting.
Dustin adds his own cop stories, about the police he has worked with, and the places his visions have taken him. He doesn’t brag, but Ronan already knows from what Harry e-mailed him that in a lot of the cases, the situation was only solved because of Dustin and his visions, and mostly the cases were outside of Oregon, away from home and cops like Grey must have not even looked up Dustin’s name.
