"After the game, you'll be at AJ's party, right?" Taylor asks, batting her eye fake eyelashes to the point where I think she's having a stroke.
I push her away from me. "Not a chance. Now that this whole facade is over, you can stay on the sidelines where you belong."
I turn around to start for the locker rooms and that's when I catch a glimpse of those stormy brown eyes staring right through my soul. The color drains from my face when I realize she probably saw everything that just happened.
"Katie!" I call out, starting towards the fence where she's standing next to Casey. "Katie!"
