Chapter 20
Logan
"Logan! Oh my God! I'm so happy we have a class together!"
I turn around to see my cousin, Kara, whom I haven't seen since last Christmas, standing right behind me. Kara just moved here from Florida. We used to be best friends when we were kids, but since her dad got a job in Tampa, we only really see each other on holidays.
She still looks the same, with long dark brown hair and big hazel eyes. Her smile lights up her entire face. I can't help but smile back. "Hey, Kara."
She engulfs me in a hug, nearly cutting off my circulation. "You are huge now! Wow!"
She takes me in, looking me up and down before blowing out a low whistle. She breaks out into a knowing smile and nudges me in the shoulder. "I bet you have a ton of girls after you."
I chuckle halfheartedly.
