Beatrice's PoV   George is now serving me food; he made chicken soup. I chuckle to myself because, while this may be the only thing he knows how to cook, he does it well.   "I'm sorry if this is all I know about cooking," George said to me.   "It's fine with me; at the very least, you made an effort on me when you cooked something for me," I told him as he finished feeding me.   George gave me water to drink, and when he was done, he ate as well, but why does he appear to be forced to eat? George is extraordinary; I don't understand him, but I have to because he is my master and will pay me.   "I think you're being forced to eat," I said, and George came to a halt and looked at me.   "I'm not forced; I'm sorry I refused what you cooked earlier, and it's a shame," George replied.   "It's fine with me if you refuse, and what can I do if I force you? I have a lot of respect for people, including you," I told George, and he examined my wound.   "I forgot to ask if you've ever been on my mansion's rooftop?" George inquired, and I had no idea there was a rooftop, but why did he inquire about the rooftop?   "I haven't been there yet; is it dirty? Do I need to clean it?" When I asked George, he shook his head.   "Don't go there. It's also prohibited for some reason," George said, and I just nodded, not wanting to find out why.   "Won't you ask me why it is prohibited?" George inquired to me, and I shook my head.   "I have respect for you and the two you disallows me to go to, just like I told you, master," I said, and George stood up.   "You remind me of someone. You two are the same," George said to me, and I was surprised because, since George had lost his wife, he could have been referring to her.   "Are you talking about your wife?" When I asked George, he stopped leaving my room.   "You're right, and you're both the same; I'm not sure why," George said as he finally came out, so I took my phone.   I looked up George's name because he was wealthy and had a butler who hired me; I'm sure he was featured in newspapers and television. But I was even more surprised because he wasn't in the newspaper or on Google, so how could I possibly get to know him completely?   I heard George knock because he is the only one in this house.   "Take a break," George said to me, and I nodded.   George shut the door, and I placed my phone on top of the drawer because I couldn't continue to form in my sleep position. I closed my eyes. I need to get well soon because I have a lot more to do the next day.   George's PoV   I stayed in Beatrice's room for two hours before returning to mine, and Beatrice slept soundly. I moved the blanket slowly and used my healing power to make her wound disappear. I smiled as the injury vanished.   I was surprised because I smiled, returned the blanket, and exited the room. I walked to the library and sat in the chair; based on my observations, Caroline and Beatrice were identical.   When Beatrice spoke and answered, she was as honest as Caroline, and even when I read what she was thinking, Beatrice didn't hide anything from me. But I still have to watch her because she doesn't remember me and didn't know who I was when we first met.   "Even if you don't remember me, Caroline, I can fall in love with you again and make you fall in love with me," I told myself, smiling.   I stood up and took a book to read; it was about mortals of today's generation, and I didn't hear Beatrice come out of her room while I was reading.   I heard Beatrice scream the next day because I knew her wound was no longer painful due to the burn I had treated. I rushed into her room and knocked; she opened the door and hugged me to my surprise.   "Your prayer was heard! George, you're fantastic!" Beatrice said to me, and then she let go of my hand as she hugged me.   "Yes, my prayer was answered," I lied as Beatrice examined her leg.   "I had never before believed in fantasy or miracles! But now I have!" Beatrice told me, and it's good she didn't wonder how that happened because she's innocent.   "Are you moving well?" I inquired, and Beatrice nodded.   "I can move well!" Beatrice told me and then exited her room.   Beatrice went down, surprised because she thought she saw something, and I went down, surprised because my parents were there. I drew Beatrice, but I overheard my mother speaking.   "We know you're with someone, George; let us in," mom said, so I remained silent.   "Who are they master? Maybe they're guests for whom I need to prepare right away!" Beatrice said, and I cut her off.   "They're my parents, and we're going out for breakfast, so please go to your room first, okay?" I told Beatrice.   "You're leaving for breakfast, but you want to hang me in my room?" When Beatrice asked me, she was timid.   "Follow it. It's part of being your maid," I said, and she immediately nodded.   "All right, master," Beatrice said as she went up to the stairs, and I adjusted my clothes.   I walked out of the house and was surprised to see a woman with them.   "Mom, do we need to get this all over again? How many times can I tell you that I don't want to marry anyone else?" I informed mom.   "George, you can't live here alone, and especially not as a prince; we need an heir," mom and I laugh.   "I don't need that woman! Caroline is what I need! I'm waiting for her! She's already had her reincarnation! Please be patient while she arrives!" I said, and my mother shook her head.   "You have to forget about her, son," dad said, and I smiled.   "No..." I said something profound, and I used my barrier power to keep them out because I was stronger than them.   "George, please speak to us," Mom said before I could enter my house.   I didn't want to accept what they wanted because I knew Caroline would come back for me. I could tell she didn't want to die on that day. When I noticed Beatrice looking at me, she went out of her room.   "Do you require my assistance?" Beatrice smiled as she said this to me.   Beatrice was correct. I needed her assistance to get my family out as soon as possible, so I signaled for her to come to me, and she did. Mom and dad were surprised when they saw us holding hands.   "Who is he, George?" Mom inquired.   "As you can see, mom, I don't need someone like her," I said, pointing to the woman they had brought with them.   "What are you talking about? Is she mortal? Human beings are our food!" I was taken aback by what mom said, and Beatrice was taken aback as well.   "Mom, stop!" I informed my mom.   "Get out of here, you see; I have a loved one. Even though I can't forget Caroline, I'm still trying to move on with her," I said to mom, not looking like I was lying or blocking my mind because they can't read that.   "All right, son, we're leaving," dad said as he drew mom away and the girl they bought and smiled at me.   When they left, I looked at Beatrice, who let go of my hand, and went inside the house. I went inside too.   "I'm sorry if that's what mom said. She didn't realize what she was saying," I apologized to Beatrice.   "It's okay. Your mother looks stressed because you may have been living here for a long time," Beatrice said as she prepared to go upstairs.   "Won't you ask my mother what she says when we eat mortals?" I inquired Beatrice.   "Why would I ask that? Your mother appears to have a mental problem, so that I won't judge her." Beatrice said to me.   It's a good thing Beatrice didn't believe what mom said. After all, if she did, she'd run away from me right away because she'd realize I was a vampire.   Beatrice's PoV   Why is this so? I'm worried because I don't understand, and I'm afraid of what her mother says about human beings are their food, maybe because what she's saying is true. Is George a monster? I shook my head because I shouldn't be passing judgment.   George hasn't hurt me since I started working in his mansion; if they were eating people like me, George would have attacked and consumed me. Perhaps his mother had a mental problem, so she said that, but she was also forcing George to marry the woman they are with, who seemed to have plans for George.   I'm not sure why I'm upset; I don't want anyone to force me to accept it. But it's a good thing I didn't say anything because George just introduced me as his girlfriend, which wasn't true.   When I finished getting dressed and went downstairs, I was surprised to see that George had already prepared breakfast. I sat in the chair, George drank something that looked likes coffee, and I sat in the chair, looking at the bacon and egg he had cooked.   "Why are you preparing this?" I inquired of George.   "I just want it as a payment because I used you to pretend to be my girlfriend," George explained, and he and I both began eating.   I smiled as I drank the milk George had prepared for me after I finished my meal.   "Thank you, master, for the breakfast you prepared for me," I said, and George smiled.   George also finished his meal, and I did the washing of two plates as well as the two glasses we used. When I finished washing, I noticed George go upstairs and wondered if he was going to his bedroom.   I put on my maid's apron and cleaned the living room first, followed by the kitchen. When I was finished, I wiped my sweat.   I was going to wipe the displayed photos, but when I opened the drawer here in the kitchen, there was no more soap to clean with, so I went upstairs and knocked on George's room door.   "I'm here," George announced, surprising me because he was in the library.   "Oh, your there. I'll buy more cleaning soap to clean the frames," I told George after he handed me his wallet.   "Why did you give me an entire wallet?" I inquired of George.   "I'm not sure how much you're going to buy, but be careful going to the market," George said as I looked him in the eyes.   "Is there anything else I can do for you?" I was surprised when Goerge asked.   "None master," I said, and he closed the door. When I look at him for a long time, he is pretty attractive.   **
