As we moved towards the lacrosse gear, a sound rang out through the air. A sound I had heard only just last weekend that chilled me to my core. A gun shot. Mania ensured in an instant, screams coming from the upper level of the store, then the lower level as I looked over to see a masked gunman coming down the escalator steps. He held his weapon up as if he were already looking for his next target. My blood was cold as I turned back to our group, but they were already scattering.
