Chapter 15: Shopping

*GIULIANA’S POV*

Our kisses deepen as we both spent a lot more time close to each other, and I can’t deny the fact that he’s really a good kisser.

I was so bewitched by his lips when he suddenly stopped and took a step back which pissed me big time.

“What the hell am I doing?” I heard him whispered as he turned his back on me and started walking towards the bathroom, but I called his name which made him stop.

“Zac,”

“Don’t tempt me, Giuliana,” he said furiously.

“Are you disgusted with my body?” I asked as I looked at him and walked behind him.

“You have no idea,” he replied and started walking again towards the bathroom, so I just let him be and shrugged my shoulders.

I’m giving you your bonus yet you still denied me, so suit yourself chief. I thought as I stepped on the bed and tucked myself in his warm blanket. As soon as my head touched the pillow, I caught the smell of Zac and I do not know why but it made me feel comfortable and safe so I closed my eyes with a smile on my lips and let myself fall into sleep.

*ZAC’S POV*

I spent almost half an hour in the bathroom as I freshen up and let my body splashed by cold waters coming from the shower.

What the hell Zac, you must not fall for her beauty and charm, she is Agent X, and she might have a plan to kill you soon. I warned myself as I washed my face and looked in the mirror in front of me.

As I stared at my reflection, I remembered what the Police General told me a year ago.

“Never trust a woman who had to wield guns and blood in their hands. They may look innocent and hot, but they will always go for the kill of their prey,”

He’s right I should not let this woman take over my authority. I am here to make sure that she will not escape, to extract all of the information that the government will be needing to clean this country, and I am going to use her to raise my rank in the police department. I thought and grab my toothbrush from its container and brushed my teeth and then wear my brief and sweatpants.

After making sure that I have myself fully under control, I stepped out of the bathroom while wiping my face with the face towel, and then I saw her sleeping peacefully on my bed.

I let out a sigh of relief and put the towel on top of the chair. Then, I grabbed a pillow from the bed and brought it with me to the living room, and settled myself on the couch.

I placed my right arm on my forehead as I stared at the ceiling for quite some time until I fall asleep.

The loud voice of a bread vendor woke me up as he passed by my house shouting the word breads for sale so I checked the outside from my window and saw the man in a bicycle while carrying his goods on the pannier of his bike.

I sighed as I run my fingers on my hair and then stretched my body out. Then, I went to the kitchen to wash my face on the sink. I also filled the kettle with clean water and placed the kettle on top of the stove and waited for the water to boil.

While waiting, I went to my bedroom and saw Giuliana still asleep on my bed, so I did not bother to wake her up and just brushed my teeth in the sink inside the bathroom. After that, I grabbed a black sleeveless shirt from my closet and put it on.

After a few minutes, I heard the water boiling so I went back to the kitchen and turned the stove off, and made myself a cup of coffee. As I took a sip of the hot liquid from the cup, I felt it flowing down to my throat, as I enjoyed that sensation, I felt someone hugging me from behind, and base on the smell of her hair, I already knew who it was.

“Good morning,” she greeted and I just nodded my head at her without looking back at her.

“Morning,” I greeted back.

“What’s for breakfast?” she asked as I felt her bury her head on my back.

“There’s some eggs in the fridge. You know how to cook right?” I replied to her and I felt her nod her head as an answer.

“Then, cook for yourself,” I added and I felt her hug loosened up then I saw her walking beside me while pouting.

“Aren’t you going to cook for your wife?” she asked innocently while I just stared at her.

“Don’t forget that this is just a setup for our own benefits, Agent X,” I said to her and placed the empty cup on the sink and washed it before I walked out of the kitchen and into the backyard where I placed all of my gym equipment.

After half an hour, while I was busy doing my pull-ups, I noticed her standing at the door while watching me do my exercises, but I just ignored her and focused on my daily routine. Then, without any warning, I saw her walking towards me. She’s still wearing the shirt she borrowed from me last night but now, the shirt was tied up behind her, showing the boxer shorts she borrowed from me too, her brown wavy hair is also tied up as she wears a pair of slippers.

“Mind if I sit here? My legs are cramping while standing over the door,” she said so I stopped for a minute and looked at her.

“Go ahead,” I replied to her and continue my exercise. I can feel her stare at me but I did not say anything and just focused until I finished a hundred pull-ups.

“Wow, is this how you make your body well-toned?” I heard her asked as she handed me a clean white face towel. I thanked her and grab the towel from her hand before answering her question.

“Yeah,” I shortly replied and looked at her physiques. I noticed that she does not have a muscular arm as an agent, hers is just a smooth, white, and slender body figure. One can say that her body is what most women are dreaming to have, because as far as I can notice she has a big but perfectly round bre*st, slim waist, and a wide hip.

“Is there some dirt on my face?” she asked which snapped me out of checking her body, and I quickly shook my head and walked back inside my house.

“Are you done exercising?” I heard Giuliana’s voice as she followed behind me.

“Yes, why?” I asked her.

“Well, can you help me buy some of my personal stuff? I don’t have any here and I don’t want to bother you by borrowing your clothes again,” she said so I turned my head to face her and she just smiled at me.

“Oh! And don’t worry, I have my own money,” she added with a smile.

Right, she does not have anything in her when we captured her yesterday. I thought and sighed, then, I nodded at her.

“Alright, I’ll take you to the mall later,” I replied to her.

“Yey! It’s a date, then,” she said as she runs to the kitchen.

“What? What date?” I asked her and I just heard her giggle, and that made me smile unconsciously, which I quickly removed from my mind and just went towards the bathroom and took a bath.

After taking a bath, I changed into some casual clothes. A plain white shirt, casual shorts, and a pair of my indoor slippers. I also took my  After that, I went towards the kitchen and saw her washing her used plates and mug. Then, when she noticed my presence a few feet behind her, she turned to face me and smiled.

“The mall will be open at 10 am so we still have uhh,” I said and checked the time from my Rolex Air King, and looked at her again.

“An hour and a half,” I added and she just nodded at me.

“Oh, right, can I borrow your phone? I just want to contact Aileen, since I also have some important documents left in her house,” she said so I nodded my head as an answer, though I am still doubting if I should trust her or not.

“Alright, thanks,” she replied so I nodded my head at her again and went back to the living room and turned on the television.

After a few minutes, Giuliana finished her dishes and slumped down on the couch beside me then she reached out her hand, so I gave her my phone and she started dialing while I secretly listened to their conversation.

“Hello? Ai, are you there?” I heard Giuliana spoke to this Aileen on the other side of the call, then she suddenly laid down on my lap, which surprised me, but then, I just let her be.

“Hey b*tch can you take my stuff to the mall?” I heard her spoke again but I can’t hear the other one speaking.

“Yes, everything…later at uhm 10 am, yes…oh, shut up,” she said and rolled her eyes but her smile is plastered on her lips.

“Alright, see you later…hahaha…no, no that won’t happen again, I think,” she said again so I looked down at Giuliana and saw her looking at me.

“Hahaha alright, I will, bye,” she said and ended the call, then, she gave me back my phone so I took it from her and she thanked me to which I simply nodded.

“I’ll take a shower now,” she said and got up from lying on my lap, then she strolls her way back to the bedroom, and I’m guessing, she’ll borrow some of my clothes again.

After an hour of waiting, she walked out of the bedroom. She’s wearing a plain red shirt of mine that she just tied behind her back, black sweatpants, and a pair of slippers that surprisingly had the same size as her feet.

“Where did you get that?” I asked her while pointing at her slippers.

“Oh, this? I cut off your extra slipper,” she said as she showed me the edge of the slipper that was cut off.

“I see. Are you done? We’ll use my car to get there,” I said and she just nodded her head while carrying a clutch bag, the same with the one she’s carrying when we captured her last night at the hotel.

“Yep, let’s go,” she said and started walking out to the garage. I followed behind her as I grab the key to my car from the drawer and locked my house. I saw her waiting on the passenger side of the car and so I opened the door for her and she just smiled at me but I ignored her and left the door open, she can close that herself.

I slide into the driver’s seat and put my seat belt on and started the engine, but I noticed that she’s not wearing her seat belt so I glared at her.

“Wear your seat belt,” I said firmly at her.

“Eh? That’s just a hassle,” she replied so I glared at her and that’s when she put on her safety belt.

“Tsk!” I hissed and started driving out of my house towards the mall.

For the whole trip, she remained silent as I noticed her looking at the side view mirror from time to time so I also checked from the rearview mirror and saw nothing behind us, so I just ignore her and focused myself on driving.

After half an hour, we arrived at the mall and were able to find a parking space, so I get out of the car with her following behind me.

“I’ll just withdraw some money,” she said and so, we both went to the ATM machine and she cashed out enough money for her shopping.

We both went from shop to shop and she spent all of her money to buy clothes, bags, shoes, and other things that women buy every time they’re in places like the mall.

And at one in the afternoon, that’s when she invited me for lunch and since I am also starving, I followed her inside a restaurant and she ordered for the both of us.

“Hey, Zac, what time are we going to meet the president?” she asked out of nowhere so I looked around and checked if someone else heard her, and thankfully no one did.

“Hey! Keep your voice down, that’s a very confidential information.” I whispered to her as I leaned forward to her and she quickly zipped her mouth with her fingers.

“It’s tonight. At seven,” I answered and took a mouthful of the steak.

“Okay,” she replied, and then she looked behind me, so I also turned around and noticed nothing suspicious, so I turned to face her and saw her slicing her steak silently.

“What’s wrong?” she asked me as soon as she saw me looking at her.

“You were loo~ Nevermind,” I replied to her and focused on finishing my meal.

“Hey, I’ll just go to the washroom,” she said and stood up so I nodded my head at her and just waited at the table that we’re occupying.

As I wait silently, my phone suddenly rang and so I checked it and saw the Police General calling me, so I quickly clicked the answer button and placed the phone in my ear.

“Sir?” I said.

“Chief Lazano, is the lounge area at the compound ready? Have you and your men secured the area for the president’s arrival tonight?” his full voice boomed in my phone’s speaker.

“Yes, sir, I already had my men secured the whole compound, especially the lounge area,” I answered.

“Good, good,” he said.

“Also, make sure that woman will be there too. I don’t know why, but the president is insisting to meet her,” he added and I knew already who he’s talking about.

“Of course sir,” I responded to her.

“Alright,” he said then the call ended so I turned off my phone and noticed that it has been thirty minutes since Giuliana left, so I put back my phone inside my pocket, paid for our order, grab all the things she bought and stormed out of the restaurant.

D*mn! Where is she? I thought as I started looking for her inside the mall.
