I prepared well for the exam. But I didn't do as well as I had expected.

I chuckled at his silliness and shook my head.

"Who are you texting?" A friend of mine asked. We were sitting at the cafeteria today and I was done with my lunch when I received a message from my admirer.

"Just a friend," I paused before I said that.

I lied. Of course, I had to. Who in their right mind would talk with their admirer? None.

So what? What if he is not as bad as people say they are?

My best friend's nagging came to my mind. But I don't care. The world is already sinking into a negativity pit, so doesn't mean I have to.

I was an optimistic person and will remain until I die.
