clink clink.
I felt my phone vibrate beside my leg before I heard the notification.
Who it must be? I hummed, pressing the space bar on my laptop putting it aside and stretched my limbs while laying on the bed. After I was done relaxing my tensed muscles from doing work for the past 3 hours in the same position, I grabbed my phone. Swiping it open I was once again surprised, seeing I got another message from the stranger- Andrew, after I left him on read. I thought he wouldn't message me again taking the hint that maybe I was not interested.
Seeing you left me on seen, I need to clarify I am no stalker. I do have an eye on you but like an admirer.
I just blinked and went back to reread his message.
Was it any different from a stalker?
I saw three dots appear on the chat bar and somehow I anticipated what his next message would be.
You are already cute and seeing you with those braids today, made me think about how can one be this beautiful and cute. And those braids seemed like a DNA helix.
I felt a chuckle escape my lips before I knew it. Comparing my braids to a DNA helix? He seemed like a nerd.
Not going to lie, I liked the attention and compliments he was giving me, better than my ex-boyfriends did.
Thank you, I guess. I typed in the message and sent him.
And just for fun, I decided to play along with an ulterior motive in my mind. I smirked.
There was no harm in it, right?
Two could play a game.
