Chapter 5Tuesday morning
Danny woke up the next morning missing Gary. Last night the man had blown his mind. The scene was intense and Danny had never felt so cared for, even in those days when he was still welcome in his parents’ home. He needed to talk to someone and he couldn’t call Caden, as much as he wanted to do so.
It was Tuesday and Jim wasn’t working. Maybe he could call and see if Jim and Brian could come over this morning. He fed Leo and changed his box, putting some deodorizer into the litter to eliminate any odor. He put fresh water into the cat’s water bowl. Leo loved the water.
