Chapter 3Saturday morning Despite the late night, Danny was up at dawn packing his things. He’d picked up the boxes last night at the back of the 7-11. When he finished packing his clothing he found he just had some odds and ends accumulated; most of what he’d owned before stayed in the house with his parents. He hadn’t told Caden, deciding it wasn’t worth the fight. He found he had a total of seven boxes, all of which easily fit into his old Corolla. I wonder what kind of car I’m getting, maybe a good used car. At least I won’t have to worry about the Corolla making it through another winter. I hope the new one has air conditioning. I wasn’t looking forward to another Jersey summer without it. Danny pulled up to his new home by seven thirty and was surprised to see Gary’s car in the dri
