Rose's POV
I kept my distance as much as I could from Lucas. It was hard doing so but I knew I had to try. Lucas kept asking me what was wrong. I didn't know if he realized what was going on, but I tried my best to keep it away from him as best as I could.
Today was the day I left the Conti's house and I was slowly losing my mind.
'' Hi are you okay,'' Zena asked as she entered the room.
'' I don't think I am Zena, I am slowly losing it,'' I let out as I shivered, none stopped.
'' Relax Rose, it is going to be alright, do you still want to do this? If you want to, you can always stay,'' Zena said, and I shook my head.
'' No, even though it is killing me right now, I am doing this, this is a sacrifice I must make,'' I let out softly as I looked back at her.
