My breath immediately hitched in my throat, as I shivered nervously.
The intense look in his eyes filled my body with goosebumps and his words filled me with so much fear.
“Why... are... telling... me... this," I asked as I shuddered at every word.
Lucas didn't answer my question or even say a word to me at that moment, he just kept on staring at me with that same intense look in his eyes, and, damn, I couldn't stand the tension.
Why would he even tell me such a thing? Does he plan on getting rid of me as well?
