Rose's POV
I couldn't think nor could I move, my heart was beating out of control and my feet were firmly planted on the floor as a huge wave of shock instantly took over me.
“What was going on? What was happening," I asked myself as my body shivered in uncertainty?
But before I knew what was happening, the stranger pulled me into his arms, whispering lightly to me.
“Please stay calm, you are shivering, trust me, everything is going to be fine, I just need you to stay close to me," he whispered with a smile on his face as he brought his hand to my face, brushing away some loose strands of hair.
The look in his eyes was so calm and comforting that it made me feel safe and weirdly relaxed.
