"You shouldn't be out yet" one of attendants uttered in surprise to see her out already.
"I don't know why I'm out either" Lucy responded, looking so numb with her arms folded closely.
She walks away from her and went all the way to the dressing room, her ass needed a rest, she sat on the small chair parting her hands in between her thighs.
"I think she was chased out, good for her!" The sounds of loud cackles got Lucy's hear flared from where she was seated.
"Don't say that" another replied.
"Oh my!" They both gasp in shock when they saw her.
"Wait, did you guys just see a ghost?"she asked, shaking with laughter.
"N..no.. not really" the first lady stutter, acting so unreal.
"I'm the ghost you saw!!" She screamed and stopped when she thought her throat was going to burst.
She hissed and rolled her eyes whilst packing the cash into her locker, she shot at them a glare that spits fire before tottering out of the place.
Back at the care center… Amelia has her legs crossed over the other as she pressed her phone vigorously that the clicking sound got the lady on the bed to start regaining her consciousness.
"Oooh…my head" Ava groaned tiredly, her right hand falling to her head and the left hand holding her waist firmly.
"You're awake?" She hurriedly turned to her bed.
"What am I doing…here?" There was an increase pitch in her voice as she talks so fast.
"You passed out from.." she began but was cut off abruptly by the way Ava jumped down from the bed, storming out of the room with the door slamming against the wall from the way she shut it.
"I should be attending to a client….oh goodness, what have I done to myself??" She blurted out loudly, her face contorted.
Just as she was about to hop into the elevator, she bumped into someone that was coming out of the elevator but cared less as she rushed in, panting heavily as she holds the glass wall.
"Wow!"
"Just wow!" Hailey exclaimed, clapping both hands in the air when she spotted her.
"I'm so sorry, I got into…
"You don't need to explain, the man just left as he wasn't pleased by your replacement" she uttered, massaging her temple, she'd almost grab something to throw at the wall to show how angry she was.
Almost.
The man I bumped into?- her thoughts ran back to the elevator scene, she tilts her head in regret, if only she knew the man was the client waiting for her then she'd tried her best to plead him.
"I don't want to see you until this time tommorow, I really hate seeing you right now" Hailey mumbled about her she felt.
"I'll make it up next time, this wouldn't have happened if I didn't pass out" her reply was hurtful and sad, she took a bow and turned to leave.
Tell me to stop, I don't want to go yet, she told herself, unconsciously pleading in her mind.
"Wait a minute"
Yes, that's it!, A big smile curved up on her edges, she swivels back happily.
"You dropped this, be quick about leaving here" she pointed at a dollar bill that dropped from her.
Sadness swallows up her face as she drags her legs to pick the money, she wouldn't stop looking back until she reached the elevator.
"Here comes her" Lucy covered her mouth and mumbled loudly when she hopped into the elevator, loud enough for her to hear.
"By her…are you perhaps referring to me?" She arched her brows as she's yet to understand what she meant.
"I don't know" she eyed her and played with the tip of her long hair. Ava stared into space for some seconds, she really wished someone could explain what was going on.
"Replacement?" She blurted out unknowingly, she suddenly remembered Hailey's word to her.
"What do you mean?" It was Lucy's turn to get curious.
"How can you talk when you should be sitting and thinking about how to improve your stripping skills?" Ava slammed words of insults at her with the thought that she'll be okay after doing this.
"I'm good in my own way, the man just have high taste!" She fights back, her veins throbbing as she pants heavily.
"You're right, I'm the high taste and you're….?" She smiled with her eyes and gawk at her.
"The low taste, I like that you're admitting that you're not good" Ava nods her head with hands under her chin.
"You b'tch!!" A muscle in her jaw twitched when she yanked Ava's hair in her hand.
"Ah…I almost died and you're going to send me back???" She screamed, struggling to get out of her clutch.
"You should have been careful with your tongue then" she pulled her closer, she'd have uproot her hair if the elevator door didn't open.
"What the heck are you guys doing?" Amelia screamed, she pushed her away and defended Ava by standing in between them.
"Why are you yelling at me alone?" Lucy's jaw clenched, stepping to her front as if she'll pounce on the two all once.
Her face is scary, So scary!.
"I'm not, you can leave, I'll talk to her" she hummed to Ava who was actually holding in her laughter, the look on Lucy's face brings her the kind of happiness that was unexplainable.
"Bye then, Sis" she winks and stepped out of the elevator with her middle finger up.
"See..See.. Did you see that b'tch telling me to f**k off?" She sneered, her brows waggling and her breathing was loud and heard clearly.
"When.. how?" Amelia was confused, Ava was quick to take away her hand so she didn't see it.
"Just get out of here!" She hissed in annoyance and stormed off.
She had thought that having some fight talks with Lucy will wash away her sadness but as she got to the front of the club, everything that was going on with her life finds its way back to her mind.
"Ava?" Her hear flared up as she swiveled back to check who called her only to see her…
