All of a sudden Nick came to my room. He was panting hard. Maybe he was running. I'm not sure.
"Jaxon is coming here for you. The patrol team just mindlinked me" he said, still panting hard to catch his breath.
I instantly worried about not knowing what to do. What if he takes me back? He isn't even accepting the rejection. And this time for sure he will punish me. Maybe in dungeons with silver chains. Oh no!
"Don't worry. My pack's witch has the masking spray. That masks your scent and Jaxon can't smell you."
