I Knocked on the door severely but no one answered. “Guards! Somebody…anybody…” My eyes were getting dimmer and to me, well–it’s my end.
“Are we dying?” Maria, my wolf stuttered. With water pouring out of my red eyes and the veins on my head pulsating, memories came crashing back. I couldn't help but think about Roseline, my cousin. Alex, my best friend who had betrayed me for my cousin, my uncle who had sold me to Aiden. And finally, Carl, the one who had taken me into his bosom and had shown me what true love is. And if at all anyone had wished me dead at this stage, they tried because their plan finally worked.
