"...Well ever since you left she's been acting crazy." Maria admits not making eye contact with me. I lick my lips looking at her concerned.
"Ms. Gordon didn't do anything to you right?" She smiles lightly and shakes her head.
"No she didn't." She whispers. Part of me thinks she lying to make me feel better but I nod anyway.
"What about everybody else?" She fiddles with her fingers and looked down.
"I-I tried I really did but she was so angry a-and I couldn't help." She stuttered. I frowned bringing her in for a hug. I rubbed her back soothingly and she sniffled pulling back.
