MISSING: THE LAST FOSTER

Chapter 8

Raixen woke up and to his surprise there was no Shekinah in the bed. He hurried to check in the bathroom but there's none. He went to the walk in closet and also none.

"Bro? What's happening?"

Raixen looked behind when he heard Felix asking.

"Shekinah's not in the bed," Raixen answered, making Felix frown. He carefully removed Lizle's arms that are locked in his chest and get up. Felix glanced at Hedeliza who's also sleeping soundly in the sofa bed. She fit in here. They must be exhausted.

"She's probably there – in one of the Fosters room, can you help me check on her?" Raixen asked.

Of course Felix won't say no. They're here to watch Shekinah and to not let anything bad happen to her. Felix went to the masters bed room the one that is close to Shekinah's room and there was no Shekinah in there.

Raixen went to Gio's room and roam around. He went to the bathroom and there was no Shekinah inside. He saw Felix coming out from the masters bed room and seems like there was also no Shekinah there. If that so, she's probably in Jasmien's room.

"Let's check in Jasmien's room, she's probably there," Felix said and Raixen agreed. They both went to Jasmien's and together, they frowned and looked at each other when they saw nothing. There was also nothing, no Shekinah in Jasmien's bedroom.

"Where is she?" Raixen said confused and nervous. He run to the bathroom and also to Jasmien's mini closet and there was no Shekinah. "Damn! Where the hell is she?!"

Felix ran to the kitchen, thinking if maybe she got hungry and went there to eat. Raixen went to the gym room of this house and the boys saw nothing. Shekinah was not in the kitchen and especially not in the gym.

"Baby where are you? Where are you Shekinah. He went back to Shekinah's room to take his phone, hoping that she has her phone with her. However, when he tried dialing her number the phone rang, from her bag that is in her study table. "Damn it!"

"Rex? What's wrong? Where is Felix?" Lizle confusely asked, she stand up and fixed her dress as well as her hair into bun.

"Shekinah's gone," he answered that widened Lizle's eyes in horror.

"What?! How?! F*ck! Sheki, where are you?!" Lizle shouted and her voice echoed the whole house. Raixen takes Shekinah's phone with her and get out from the room to search Shekinah. It's 3 in the morning and it's raining a bit.

"Rex!" Raixen turn around and saw Hedeliza in hurry. "What is wrong? Why do I keep hearing Lizle shouting Shekinah's name? What happ -- wait, where is she?" She nervously asked when she finally noticed the gone Shekinah from the bed.

"Shekinah's gone, she's not here," Raixen answered and took Shekinah's phone with him and his car keys.

Hedeliza also rushed herself and went out from the room taking her car keys. Downstairs, she saw the frustrated Lizle walking back and forth while Felix came from somewhere part of this huge house.

"Have you seen here?" Lizle asked upon seeing the panting Felix. Felix shook his head.

"Oh my God! Where the hell is she!" Lizle leaned her back in the wall with her palms in her face.

"Where is Raixen?" Hedeliza roamed her eyes around when she didn't notice Raixen.

"He's going to check the Fosters grave. Rex said, let's check in here," Lizle answered.

"I'll follow Raixen," Hedeliza said, rushing herself to her car and drive a little but faster. It's just dawn!

While being left in the house, Lizle and Felix still searching the whole damn corner of the place. They went back to the rooms where they have already checked, the pool, the backyard, the kitchen and they saw nothing! No Shekinah Foster in this house!

Raixen on the other hand almost have his car flying in the intense of his driving. He is damn afraid! What if something bad is happening to Shekinah right in this moment? He was already there, he was so close to watch her but he was damn sleeping! Raixen is blaming himself for being careless.

And he finally reached the place where the Fosters are lying in their grave, he didn't waste a second and rushed to get from his car out and check the place. He got teary eyed when he spotted the woman he loves, peacefully sleeping in front of her family's tombstones.

She's here, sleeping while hugging Jasmien's bear. Raixen roam his eyes around to see any car and he saw nothing aside from his own car.

He walk towards Shekinah and lift her head, he sit down in the grass and let her girlfriend's head rest in his lap. He took his phone to send a message to their friend that he found her, that she's just here.

"Raixen!" Raixen looked up and saw the running Hedeliza in her pajamas.

"She's here," he said.

Upon hearing those words, Hedeliza run fast until she finally saw Shekinah with her own two eyes.

"Oh, thank you Lord! How did she get in here?" Worry and confusion was written in Hedeliza's face. She didn't see any cars aside from hers and Raixen's.

"I don't know," Raixen answered shrugging. "Tell Felix and Lizle that we found her and we're bringing her back." He ordered Hedeliza who happened to just nod and agree.

Raixen carried the sleeping Shekinah and put her in the backseat. He had to ask Hedeliza's help to fix his backseat and to recline the chairs and make it bed for Shekinah to have a comfortable area.

Seeing the strongest woman he knew in this state feels so unreal. He never imagined that day would come that is going to witness Shekinah in this pain. Sure, he knew that everyone would encounter downfall and pain, but not this kind of pain. Although, she didn't consider Shekinah the weakest in this situation, she actually is the strongest for she was able to handle the pain even if it's trying to crash her.

"Felix and Lizle are waiting, drive safely, Rex. I'll be following your car," Hedeliza said after they successfully and carefully put Shekinah without waking her up.

"They found her," Lizle happily said making Felix sigh in relief. "She scared the hell out of me! I was so scared!" She drinks a lot of water to calm herself.

"She went to the grave?" Felix asked for it was Lizle who received a call from Hedeliza. She nodded and stand the side of the door waiting for their best friend's car to arrive bringing back Shekinah. "I can't imagine what will happen to Rex if something happen to Shekinah. Seeing him earlier, he was so ready to burst out. His eyes are angry yet scared. He was so ready to do whatever he needs and wanted to do."

"He'll die if he lost Shekinah. Me, personally, I'll die if something happen to you," Felix said making Lizle smile.

"Thank you so much. We are so lucky to have you two — oh, they're here!"

Felix and Lizle run into Raixen's car followed by Hedeliza's car. Raixen went out from the driver's seat and opened the backseat and carried Shekinah who happened to be sleeping still.

"She didn't wake up?" Hedeliza asked in awe the moment she sees Shekinah soundly sleeping in Raixen's arms. .

Without a thought and command, Lizle went to Shekinah's closet and get some pajamas and Hedeliza went to the bathroom and get warm water. She slept in the grass and it was dewy.

"Her sacks are dirty, her clothes are wet. She might get cold because of this," Raixen said when she places Shekinah in her bed.

"I'm amused she didn't even wake up," Felix added while looking at the lying Shekinah.

"Stay aside, Rex."

Raixen looked at the girls preparing some things for his girlfriend. He stayed the side and invited Felix to get out from the room when Lizle said they are going to replace her clothes.

"s**t! She's shaking! She's hot, Hiede!" Lizle said, panicking when she touches Shekinah's forehead and neck. Hedeliza's eyes widened and did the same thing to gasped finding out that Shekinah's on fire.

"Let's finish cleaning her up then look for the temperature in her dresser cabinet, please," Hedeliza said while wiping warm clothes to Shekinah's body. "Sheki, please, please stay strong."

Lizle hand the clothes to Hedeliza and find the temperature herself.

"How about, let's call the boys?" Lizle nervously said.

"Yes please, call them." Hedeliza replied after putting all new clothes to Shekinah. Lizle opened the door and the boys didn't even wait to be called, they invited themselves.

"She's cold, she's shaking, Rex," Lizle said looking at Raixen who looked at her too.

"What?! Excuse me, Hiede, can you get the temperature there, please?" Raixen asked, pointing his finger in Shekinah's dresser cabinet.

"I have it, here."

Raixen looked at Lizle handling the temperature. He touches Shekinah's forehead and she seems on fire. She's so hot.

"I don't need to check it, she's shaking. Felix prepare the car, I'll bring her to the hospital," Raixen throw away the temperature and carry once again Shekinah. Her whole body is trembling.

Felix ran fast to start his car and the girls helped Raixen to enter the car, they were all riding Felix's car.

"Baby, stay still."

Everyone looked at Raixen with concerns in their eyes. The pain in Raixen's eyes are visible. He was trying to not to cry while looking at Shekinah and hugging her. He was resting his chin in Shekinah's head. He even covered her the comforter she has in her bed but still she's cold.

"Hiede, we have to make sure paparazzi won't know about this. For sure that would stress Shekinah even more," Lizle said and Raixen agreed. Paparazzi are still have their eyes on Shekinah, the were still bothering her and they know Shekinah are sick of those people. They don't know what privacy means.

"Yeah, we I'll do that. I'll call dad and ask a bodyguards but make sure Shekinah won't know about this, she hate bodyguards," Hedeliza answered.

Indeed she hate bodyguards and that is why she had to study physical combat like martial arts, karate, taekwondo and different kind of weapon because she don't want to roam around the city or anywhere else with some bunch of asses following her ass.

"I'll talk to the doctors and nurses that is in-charge to look for her to make it confidential as well," Felix added. Raixen thanked to him and smiled.

Felix indeed can do that, they are going to one of the hospitals Felix's family owned.

When they reach the hospital, Felix went out first to call an assistance. Hopistal personnel are in rush to bring stretcher and assist Shekinah.

Raixen tapped Felix shoulder and smiled weakly. "Thank you, bro," he said.

"That's our best friend, we do all things for our best friend," the man answered.

Raixen knows Shekinah doesn't have any illnesses or whatsoever, he couldn't just stay right there and look at her shaking in cold. She needs treatment and he is sure, that is fatigue. Her pain is controlling her mind and her mind is controling her body that makes her weak. But she's not weak, she was never been weak and she will never be weak.

He is studying medicine and yet Shekinah's situation panicks him. Raixen closed his eyes and clenched his fist in anger. Why the hell did he panicked by the way?! That couldn't help Shekinah. He was supposed to stay calm all the time around her.

His phone rings and it showed his mom's name.

"Mommy?"

("Raixen what happened? What happened to Shekinah? I told you to not to take your eyes away on her. I told you to watch your girlfriend, Raixen!") Raixen winced and take his phone away from his ear because of his mom's voice that obviously echoed in her room.

"Mom, please lower your voice. Do you want to ruin my eardrums?" He said.

("Come on Raixen! Tell me!") Raixen exhales sharply when he noticed the panick of his mom is also no joke.

"We're in the hospital, Shekinah was trembling with fever, she was exposed in cold, mom, for I don't know how long. I fell asleep and at 3 am I woke up and found out she wasn't in her bed. We found her in her family's grave. She went there by herself with a socks only," Raixen said and wiped the tears comes out.

His mom gasped in the other line. ("Oh my God!")

"By the way, how did you know, mommy?" He asked. None of the four of them called his mom. Oh--

("Hiede's dad called me and asked what happened. Hiede only told him that you needed bodyguards in private and make sure paparazzi won't find out, alright, I'll hang up now. I'll call Felix's dad and Lizle's mom as well to make sure Shekinah won't be bothered. Let her live, let her heal.)

Raixen thanked his mom before he hang up the call.

"Mr. Gregor." Raixen looked up the doctor who called his surname, all of them paid attention. "Let her take a good rest, as per checking, it was because of over fatigue and cold, but please let her take these medicine and vitamins, her fever was sever. She reaches 40° C, that high. We'll still run some further check on her, thank you, please excuse me."
