MISSING: THE LAST FOSTER

Chapter 15

Shekinah is sitting in the shotgun seat while Raixen's in driver seat when the reporters blocked their way out from the school.

"What the hell is that?" Raixen's eyes narrowed and looking at these people sharply. He is honking the horn to tell these people leave.

Shekinah's phone rings and it's Lizle. Felix's car is there in the back.

"Liz." Shekinah answered the call.

("What's wrong? Why did you stop? Why are you guys honking? And what's with these reporters?") Lizle asked that made her sigh.

"Reporters are blocking us and knocking my window. These people are getting me sick, I'm sorry." Shekinah answered.

("Alright, where's the guard? This f*cking one way road!") Shekinah heard Lizle before ending the call.

Raixen's still moving the car forward, reporters are stepping backward but some of them still knocking the shotgun window. They can't even see who is inside of this car since this is fully dark tinted!

"We have to change car, they knew this car. They would probably come back here," Raixen said when they successfully find their way and leave those freak got nothing.

Their phones are ringing again but now it's their group chat in viber. Hedeliza's calling via video call. Raixen dropped the call in his phone and Shekinah answered hers as well as Lizle.

("You okay, Sheki?") Hedeliza asked immediately as their faces seen in the screen.

"I'm fine. I didn't open the window, but I think, Raixen's car was scratched," she said glancing to her driving boyfriend who looks really pissed.

Raixen's not allowing her to bring her own car everywhere and that's why he volunteered to be her personal driver wherever she goes. At first, she didn't like the idea until Raixen came in her house early in the morning uninvited to fetch her.

She did told him not to do that again but still he keeps on coming and fetching her until she herself surrendered and had enough to tell her boyfriend who made up his mind already.

("Are we going straight to car repair shop?") They heard Felix in the other line, though his face wasn't in the screen for the camera is focused on Lizle. Only the girls are there in the screen.

Hedeliza's doing video call while driving. Well, she's a racer, she knows what she is doing plus she's not a fearful type of a person, personally. But she gets scared easily for the other people.

"No." Raixen answered. "That can be done the next day or maybe I'll call the auto mechanic to fix this in my garage. That would do, what do you think, babe?"

Shekinah raise her eyebrows when Raixen turns to her. "I think, you should bring your car to the repair shop. Don't be so VIP." She answered, making their friends laugh in the call.

"You know, you can also be easy to sometimes," Raixen said calmly.

"I was never get hard on you," she retaliates.

("Any plans this weekend guys? We have a long weekend coming, by the way,") Hedeliza said.

("Right! You know, I got to see this very pleasant and very beautiful beach somewhere in south. I guess, we can have a great weekend there," Lizle remarks in excitement.

("Where exactly in south?")

Shekinah is looking to the busy Hedeliza who is glancing to the camera and looking back to the road.

"I prefer Visayas," Raixen murmured and that catches Shekinah's attention.

("Did you say something, Rex?") Lizle has always been like a moth, she have the hearing like she can hear anything.

"He said, he wants to go somewhere in Visayas," Shekinah repeated Raixen's word and got a wink from a teasing boyfriend s***h driver.

("Damn! You got the idea I have in mind, bro,") Felix said.

"I am always been better than you, bro,") Raixen said, smirking and Felix middle finger appeared in the camera. Of course, Raixen showed his too.

The girls just shoke their head with their faces and shoulders fell.

("Hey, wait! Felix, Lizle, why are we following Rex's car? We are entering Sheki's village, oh damn!") They heard Hedeliza and so they all look outside and she's correct! They are literally entering Shekinah's village. They were just about to go home, each other's home.

("Why the f*ck I followed you, Raixen?!") Felix asked in his hard tone.

("I didn't notice, we are going to Shekinah's!") Lizle also said laughing in disbelief.

("And so since we are already here, let's just eat. I'm getting hungry. We can talk about weekend activities as well. Damn! Did I just forgot the way to my house?")

Everyone laughed at Hedeliza shaking her head in disbelief. The call ended when they parked each other's car in the Fosters garage. It's a good thing that Shekinah's helper is back after their vacation and now, she has someone to cook food for them.

She was smiling when she opened the door to get our from the car but her smile faded when she saw the scratch in the car's door. Those people are after her, this is because of her. Yeah, maybe Raixen can have it fixed immediately but it costs a lot.

Raixen reached her hand as they enter her house while her friends are already there inside. That's their best friends.

"The scratch was terrible," she said feeling so bad and throw herself in the couch.

"Really? I haven't seen it yet, how bad?" Lizle asked curiously.

"Terrible." She answered

"Oh damn! Buy new car, Raixen," Felix jokes and the girls cheered, well, except for Shekinah that feels guilty.

"Don't! Why would you buy a new car? I can bring that to the repair shop," Shekinah immediately said while looking at Raixen.

She may have a lot of money but she really don't like spending it in anything that is not necessary. Her mom, would agree with her. Her mom is the best when it comes of handling money. She have no idea how but her mom can make her centavo into a million and she wanted to become like that.

Though, today, everything her family have is in her hands, like everything. She's managing her time for her school, charity and businesses and she's very thankful she have these people with her who helped and still helping her in everything.

"You're hots, Sheki. Of course, Raixen will have that fixed. Your boyfriend is the most stingy person I knew," Felix said and that, he receives the flying pillow.

"That was my fault. I'll bring my own car starting tomorrow, you don't have to fetch me here anymore, babe," she said.

Raixen looks at her like she has a two grown heads. His eyes obviously said no.

"What? The heck I'll let you do that. I have other cars, you have nothing to worry about that. We can have that fixed anytime plus I'm not going to buy new car," Raixen argued. She already know he would say that.

Her cook called to inform them that the food is ready and her friends run into the dining and digs in before she was able to take her seat. She's really proud of these people. All of them, they love staying each other's house before, eating there and just chilling. That thing changes because of what happened to her family. They weren't able to visit Lizle's, Felix, Hedeliza's in almost 7 months now. They're just always here in her house.

Maybe she'll suggest to have a sleep over in Lizle's but she's afraid she might have her nightmare there. She's keeping that to everybody but there's this thing that hunting her in her dream. She couldn't afford to ruin the bonding moment their friends could have.

Maybe in the vacation, they can do that. Bond each other and all.

"I'm thinking that we should really go in Visayas. I was once went there with mom but I wasn't able to roam around," Hedeliza said while having her mouth full of food.

"Don't talk if your mouth is full," Raixen said pointing Hedeliza with his chicken drumstick.

"You went to Visayas? When?" Lizle asked Hedeliza.

"Way back in high school, I think? I don't know, I can't remember." Hedeliza answered, shrugging.

"Yeah, that was high school. You brought us the best bread before and I haven't eat that bread again, anymore," Shekinah said with a smile while having her cheek full of food she's chewing. Raixen pressed her cheek and that for Raixen to receive a death glare.

"Can you stop glaring?"

Shekinah even more sharpened her glare. "Can you just don't mind us and just eat your ass?" She fired back.

"Burn!" Felix teases Raixen.

And ended with unplanned vacation. Because the boys are getting crazy in the dining they weren't able to plan their vacation and they're done eating. Now, the girls is in the couch while the boys are not allowed to be here unless the girls called them to be.

That is what good about the five of them during vacation. Gone the relationship of boyfriend and girlfriend, they are all friends and so Hedeliza can ride the bond. They also don't tell everybody to act like this and act like that because they automatically switched.

"So for 2 rooms – this one, I think this room is better," Lizle said, pointing the room in the laptop screen. They are booking a room and they're choosing the unit with two rooms, like always.

Girls in one room and the boys in the other room. That is always their set up. They don't do friends with other people that is why, they have no one to invite to come with them, just the five of them.

"Felix, Rex, come over."

When the boys heard Hedeliza calling them, they abruptly throw themselves in the couch. "How can you two be crazy today?" Lizle asked raising her brows but the boys didn't mind her. Raixen immediately wrapped her arms around Shekinah's hips from the back and Felix rested her head in Lizle's shoulder.

Hedeliza narrowed her eyes to the boys and they together sit their asses properly. The girls let out a little laugh making the boys pout. Hedeliza grimaced.

"So, whose plane are we going to use for this weekend?" Hedeliza's eyeing the four of them. All of them have private planes but Hedeliza's was with her mom outside the country.

"Felix!" Shekinah

"Felix!" Lizle

"Felix!" Raixen

"Sheki's!" Felix.

Felix looked at Lizle, he couldn't believe her. Lizle just burst into laughter after realizing what she just said.

"Why did you picked me?!" Felix asked his girlfriend who's still laughing. The others are laughing as well.

"Hey! I'm sorry! I was about to said Rex but heck I just copied Shekinah," Lizle said laughing and almost lay in the couch.

"You did what?" Shekinah asked.

"You just said Felix! With authority in your voice and I don't know I copied what you said. I sound like your second voice," Lizle explains while using her hands as a fan in her face.

"We followed Raixen's car all the way here and now you copied what just Shekinah said like you were hypnotized? Really? What's with you two?" Hedeliza asked like there is something wrong with Shekinah and Raixen.

Shekinah raised her hands like she surrenders. "I did nothing," she said with a wide smile.

"So am I," Raixen seconded.

"Are you guys doing some black magic?" Felix asked with his eyebrows raised.

"I already told you thousand times to stop watching fantasy," Raixen snide.

"Ms. Shekinah, I forgot to tell you that you have a package that delivered earlier," Shekinah's helper said and handing her the small package making her narrowed her eyes.

"Package? From who?" Raixen asked but Shekinah has no idea and so she just answered it with shrug.

All eyes are on her while she's unpacking the package she do not know where it came from.

"Why do I feel like there's something in that package, " Felix said.

Raixen take the package and unpack it himself. Their forehead knotted and wonders when Raixen removed all the covers and saw the rectangular black box.

Shekinah without a second thought opened the black box and everyone is waiting what is there inside.

"It's a letter and a memory card with memory card holder," Shekinah said when she opened the box but there's one thing that caught her. "It's from dad."
