MISSING: THE LAST FOSTER

Chapter 12

Shekinah became so silent after that incident in the restaurant and Raixen got so pissed that he had to talk the girls and scold them. He couldn't control anymore because what the girls did boiled his blood. Good thing Felix was there and he grabbed Raixen to stay away from the girls. Raixen was so near to hit them off.

Raixen was driving with no words to say and so Shekinah. Their friend's car are there in their back following at them and his mom has her own car, she just drove herself with Lucas' home. Raixen was nervous when Shekinah said to their friends to come with them in her home. She barely said that.

When they reached in Fosters residence, Shekinah throw herself in the sofa and pressed her temples with her fingers.

"Babe," Raixen is trying to get her attention and he succeeded. Shekinah looked at him with questioning look.

"I really want to punch those faces! Why the hell you stopped me, Lizle!" Hedeliza frustratingly said and throw herself in the couch as well. Lizle picked up the sofa pillow and throw it to Hedeliza who was caught off-guard and it landed in her face.

"b***h!" Hedeliza hissed but Lizle just chuckled and stuck her tongue out.

Raixen sat down in Shekinah's side and wrapped his arm around her hips and Lizle smiled widely to the move of Raixen so she pulled Felix to sit close to her and wrapped her arms around Felix's hips and again stuck her tongue to Hedeliza. Hiede throw the pillow back to Lizle that makes everyone laugh including Shekinah.

"I told you to get yourself a lovelife!" Lizle said, shouting and laughing. She was holding her stomach in laughter that made everyone raised their brows on her.

"I still have the feeling that I want to punch those bitches. Don't start with me Lizle," Hedeliza said, rolling her eyes to Lizle who again burst into laughter.

"You're getting crazy, Liz. What happened to you?" Shekinah speak and chuckled a bit.

"Maybe because she wasn't able to finish her dessert earlier. She loves leche flan but she was pissed and so she pushed the leche flan away," Felix joined the conversation and catch the nudge of Lizle and a death glare.

"I'm sorry for what happened guys, I think I ruined the moment. I feel so sorry for tita Monica and Lucas, babe," Shekinah said looking everyone to Raixen with a guilty eyes.

She really felt bad about what happened that is why she was just silent the whole time after Raixen shoo the girls away. She regretted that she did talked back. She wished she didn't but maybe she was just really had enough with people saying that what happened to her family was an accident.

She didn't f*cking believe in that.

Her dad would never ride a car without checking it himself. Her dad used to drive the car by himself without a bodyguard when they are going to a vacation. He was not the same some typical Mr. President who got themselves a bunch of bodyguards. Her dad as well was pissed with having a people following his ass.

And she is sure, that wasn't an accident. No idea! But she believes in that and will believing that.

"But Sheki, that is what the authority said, they got the van checked and they said it was the break," Hedeliza said.

"Yeah, that is what they said. Sheki, what makes you think that it wasn't an accident?" It was Felix so Shekinah turned to him before looking at the others.

"Do you believe in that?" She asked them. Everyone looked at each other before looking back to Shekinah. Shekinah laughed in disbelief and disappointment. "Really? Do you guys believe in them and you don't believe in me?!" She is now frustrated, she stood up and her voice got loud. "Sorry," she said and get back in her seat.

"Babe ----"

She looked at Raixen and cut him, "you also believe in that." That wasn't a question. Shekinah breathe shakily and weeps. Raixen panics and hugged her saying sorry.

"Sheki, it's not like that. It's just that, you know, we didn't heard anything from you about that and the authority just informed all over the national TV about what happened to Mr. President, the cause and all," Felix said.

"You all forgot or you chose to forget? I told you that even before. I chose not to mention it again because I don't have evidences yet, all I know is that dad wasn't that careless fo him not to know that his car is not well. I also didn't mention it again, because I was in my lowest and I was the weakest, I was powerless. How can I stand my words when me, myself, can't feel me." Shekinah explained.

Everyone nodded and said sorry but Shekinah shakes her head to stop them saying sorry. They aren't at fault in the first place.

"You guys stop saying sorry. I think I was just overacting. Forget that," she said and walked out.

Everyone was left dumbfounded when she just walk upstairs. They all look at each other and Raixen stood up form his seat and followed his girlfriend.

"Let me talk to her first," he said when they were about to follow her as well. The three nodded with worried eyes.

This is what Raixen was thinking all this time. He was pulling some crazy string just to maintain the vibes of the day. How can be other people don't know what is timing? How can be other people do not know what is privacy? Does Shekinah wants to be interviewed? She never face any cameras around! How the heck those girls didn't know that?

Is that really how people in media works? They become aggressive just to get information when they also write a wrong headline elsewhere.

Raixen knock the door and when he noticed it wasn't locked he invited himself. He almost stumble when Shekinah jumped into a hug and cried.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. What I did – my reaction was so embarassing, babe. I felt so shy in front of them," Shekinah said that just made Raixen smile. He thought she walked out because she's mad, he's wrong. She walked out because she's shy. Aahw.

"No babe, you have nothing to say sorry about. We understand how you feel. Come on, let's go back downstairs? They were scared by the way. It was the first time you walked out from them, babe," Raixen said making Shekinah pout.

They were about to get out from the room when they heard a knock. Shekinah's eyes widened but Raixen chuckled a bit and open the door. Hedeliza comes in first followed by Lizle and Felix.

"I'm sorry guys," she quickly said.

"Why are you sorry? We are not mad nor felt bad. We were just shocked that you walked out. Shekinah Foster would never do that but of course, we understand that. We were there when you fought the pain that you are still fighting. We just want to understand what you are saying, Sheki. I can understand, we would understand," Lizle said reaching her hand. Hedeliza nodded when Shekinah gave a glance to her as well as Felix who shows thumbs up and her boyfriend that gives her an assurance smile.

Shekinah knows that these people are not shallow. She knows that she got the best of the best friends and that is why she was embarassed because her action was in another level. If they don't wanna believe in her, she should not force them to. They knew her, they would know if everything she said was all true or false. They have their own, she can tell them things but she can't force them to be in her page.

"I'm sorry for raising my voice, I also couldn't believe myself that I really did that to you guys," she said smiling at them. Her eyes are shouting the guilt.

"That's fine, we're fine," Hedeliza replied.

"Sheki, we want to understand, what do you mean about it wasn't an accident," Felix said.

"Nothing, just forget about it. I realized, that was just me. I should never force you guys to believe in me if you are believing others. I mean, I don't have concrete evidence to show to anyone and if I tell that to people they would just laughed in my face. What happened in the restaurant, I'm pretty sure that would surely attract other media reporters to come over me." She seriously said.

"Do you need bodyguards? I can ask dad for some," Hedeliza quickly said.

Raixen walks towards Shekinah and hugs her from behind, resting his chin in her shoulder. "I also thought the same babe, what if let's just have some bodyguards for you, maybe 3 or 4 and of course, they won't go near to you," Raixen said but Shekinah shakes her heard to disagree.

"No need. I don't need to run away from them or block them, I have already said my thought and my words earlier. If they still don't get what I mean, then, that's their problem not, mine. I'm not saying anything again. They can blow the internet again, like how the interest once blew when they announced that the President is gone." She said in her serious tone.

"You have a point there, but your safety is important, Sheki," Felix said agreeing to Raixen.

"Don't worrt about me guys. They are just a piece of cake that I have to go through. I just have a favor to ask to all of you. By any chance that any reporters goes to you and ask you some stupid questions or any questions about me or about my family, stay quiet." She said.

Everyone nodded their head and smiled. Well, she already knows about that. They already got their mouth shut even before the candidacy of her father. Some reporters went to her friends to asked what her friends knows about Foster Family and those people got nothing from them. So she trusts them a lot.

"Are you sure you don't need bodyguards?" Lizle asked again, among them she was the one that is scardy cat. Though, she wanted to be a lawyer but she's still in the process of facing her fears.

As of now, you can intimidate her by just looking at her eyes with no words. But they believed that once Lizle would step in the court for she choose that field, she will be dangerous than a lion, her animal year.

"Don't you ever go far away that I can't see. I would go insane thinking what will gonna happen to you. If you don't want bodyguards then you must stay with me all the time," Raixen said raising his brows on Shekinah.

"Sheki, I'm still curious about what do you mean. I still wanna know why do you think it was something like that. I couldn't help it, but it won't leave my mind," Hedeliza said in her low voice.

Shekinah again shoke her head and said, she's going to tell them once she found some evidences to prove about that. She haven't seen the van since it was rescued from the water. She didn't also see her family's stuff. Everything was kept by Raixen's mom and she refused to have it back.

Maybe sooner she'll bring those things back in this house. For now, she's still gaining strength to see the last things her family with.

"We can work that, Sheki. If that is your point of view, we can check that one. We can ask mom to help us -----"

Shekinah cut Lizle off. Lizle's mom is also a lawyer that makes her wants to be a lawyer. Her mom's fashion style is in different level and Lizle copied her mom style with a twist.

"No! If I want to work on that, I will find myself and evidence. I know this going to be this hard for me and sounds impossible and crazy but please, don't ever tell me to stop believing my mind. Because I'll show you guys, how I come up to that idea. Because I know dad, I know him well."
