Chapter 11

1825 Words
I'm Sen, one day I went looking for Sana. "Um, it's delicious," Sana said. I'm pretty happy about that. Because I still have to clean the empty room, I let her stay in the kitchen and continue my cleaning work, even though there are guests in the house, I don't want to postpone the cleaning. The hallways are so messy, it wouldn't be nice to let Sana see them, or else she'll think I'm a person who lacks discipline. A moment after I thought Sana had finished eating I went down to the kitchen. I should have waited for her to finish eating before cleaning up, but when I arrived, Sana had already finished cleaning for me. That makes me think that I am a person who is used to idleness, when I am at Sana's place, I do not have to do anything, but when Sana is at my place, she has to clean… Just now I thought I had thanked her already. "Oh Sana, you don't have to do anything, leave them to me." I jumped in and took the job from Sana, pushing her back into the chair. Then I used the fastest to clear them so that Sana wouldn't need to help me, and at that point, I also asked: "Do you need to call anyone to let you know you'll be here for a day?" "Yes." After Sana finished talking, she rummaged through her pocket, after a while, she said: "I forgot my phone in the car, can you lend me your phone?" I replied: "You are welcome, the phone is on the table in the living room, you can go and get it." "Thank you." Sana went outside to make a call, she even closed the door. I mean, there's no need to go out, but she was walking so fast that I didn't have time to say it. Never mind, she probably doesn't want me to hear the conversation. I gave Sana new clothes and a towel, told her to take a shower, if it's too late, she won't be able to shower. Even though Sana is taller than me, my clothes still fit her, that's because I have a habit of buying one size bigger. Realy, buying loose clothes is convenient. I put two of her clothes in the washing machine, turned on the spin mode so that the clothes could dry in time tomorrow. Having finally finished all my work for the day, I looked at the clock at eleven o'clock at night, going to bed out of habit. My room wasn't very big, but it had a comfortable bed, enough for two people, so I didn't mind letting Sana sleep with me. "Good night." I closed my eyes and said. Sana also said, “Good night.” Sleeping at home is indeed different, it didn't take long before I started to fall asleep. In my dream, I saw a middle-aged man holding a child's hand... I'm not sure if that child is me, that person who looks like me but only gives a feeling of familiarity, not sure it's me. I saw my face become distorted, then the middle-aged man pulled the child to run away, the faster he ran, my dreams gradually changed. When everything in my sight went awry, I saw the other kid looking back at me. But that's not true, what that child was looking at must be what was behind me, so I turned my head to see what it was- suddenly the dream ended. It's five o'clock in the morning, I intend to sleep because it's still early, but thinking about having to walk to school today, I sit up. My movement was not too strong, but it made Sana wake up, then I realized that she wakes up so early every day. Usually, I don't eat breakfast, it's just that today I have Sana so I have to cook, and by the way, I also sit down to eat with her. There's nothing left in the house but noodles and spices, so I casually cook instant noodles, I don't want to walk to the market at all. When I was about to go to school, I wanted to ask her if she was going home when I found out she had a fever. Early in the morning, she sneezed a lot, but I didn't pay much attention, so when I saw her lying on the table I knew. I told her to lie down and rest, but she insisted on going back to the inn and said someone would pick her up on the way, even if I can't let her go out in this state. It was just that she had to go back to the inn, so I had to say, "Then you stay in my house, when someone comes to pick you up, you can close the door for me." My house uses an electronic lock door, so just close it, it will automatically lock, only the person inside can open it. Hearing that, Sana just lay still. I went to get medicine for her to take, then put a cold towel on her forehead before going to school. I do care at all for her on my way to school, I'm afraid her disease's getting heavy without anyone looking after me. But when I went to school, that fear started to change. It's hard to believe when I leave my house to someone I'm not too close to, if something comes up to the house, how can I explain it to my parents? They certainly won't forgive my carelessness. Maybe Sana didn't have bad intentions, but I still couldn't stop thinking and worrying. Because I couldn't stand the feeling of restlessness, I asked a friend to drive me home, and what was in front of me shocked me. I didn't know what to say, so my friend asked: "What's wrong?" The middle-aged neighbor that I sometimes meet now is standing in front of my door, saying: “This morning everyone heard a loud noise, so they came then to see a bunch of people smashing things, they had. They were armed with weapons so people didn't dare to stop them, they could only wait for the police to arrive." After investigating, the police told me that those people broke the lock of the gate and entered the house, fortunately, there were no people inside, so no one was injured. And they have already contacted my parents. As soon as I saw them I wanted to run away from my responsibility, but I can't, they are my parents and I am taken care of by them. Before they could scold me, I quickly said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." My mother covered her face, sighed and said, "So it's you- so what did you end up doing?" I didn't know where to explain, so I chose to remain silent. Furthermore, I don't know exactly who did this. My house uses bulletproof glass, breaking in is impossible, the only way to enter the house is through the main door. Since the main door can only be opened from the inside, that means Sana opened it. If she were here, I wouldn't suspect her, but she's gone, which means it's all her fault. It's just that I'm just speculating, in fact all of these things are made by me. I quickly accepted the fact that it was all my fault, but I needed to find Sana. She's sick, what if they take her away? I wish she forgot to close the door and made it back to the inn in time before all these bad things happened. My father stood in front of my path, saying: “Something like this happens at our house, so where are you going? Stay home for me now!" I edged past my father, quickly ran away and said, "I have some business outside to take care of, I'll be home at five o'clock." I'm so sorry for leaving that mess behind, but I need to find Sana right now. First, I went to the inn where Sana lived, the distance was not too far away but enough to make me sweat under the two o'clock sun. Surprisingly, this place is crazier than I thought. Since the last time I left at night, I couldn't see clearly, now I can imagine where this place is. This place is one of those slums out of town where people never stop by. So when I was walking on the street, I could clearly feel their curious eyes, it didn't matter, I just hoped no one would block my way. But out of nowhere, a group of children appeared in front of me… I'm not mistaken, it was a few boys, just now I saw them playing catch. "You guys stay out of my way, I'm busy." I thought they were just curious so I said so softly, but no, there was a kid pulling my hair from behind. I turned around but still didn't know who did it, because they all looked suspicious, and at that moment my hair pulled again. Being in such a situation made me not know where to scold from, so angry that I couldn't do anything. So I decided to ignore it, aggressively walking forward, they can pull my hair from behind but whoever blocks my way I will hit them. I pushed one child away causing it to fall, the others laughed, some even jumped out to tease me. I didn't care what he wanted to do, according to what was decided, I grabbed his hair and pressed it to the ground, of course the others were still laughing, but I knew I had moved to the wrong person. That kid I just grabbed by the hair also looked stubborn, so he didn't mind fighting with me. It's shorter than me but the kick is really high, I cover my stomach and take a few steps back, I was so annoyed that I almost cried. Why do the kids want to mess with me? “These annoying people…” I groaned, looking up to see passersby laughing at us as if laughing at my patheticness. Okay, if they curse at me, I'll try to assume that they don't have a good education, but I'm not that lenient enough to let myself get beaten up. I protested by standing up and punching him in the face hard, without waiting for them to react, I ran away. Fortunately, I located the location quite well, taking a more roundabout route, but I still found the apartment block Sana lived in. It was very quiet in the afternoon, which scared me that everyone had gone out. However, Sana is seriously ill, it's difficult to go out on the street, let alone work, so I decided to go inside to find her.
