Charlie “GREAT! I found you, didn’t I?”
I grin at him sweeping his feet right out from under him.
David “Okay miss I’m so clever. Now that you are all human how did you find your pixie side and magic?”
I look at him through squinted eyes, turning on my heel I start walking down the forest line, barefoot in the soft grass.
Charlie “Well that is actually a funny story. After all of it, our new human Queen who had turned human first of course was sitting at the head of the table at the celebration. We have to celebrate everything, even if we lose.”
I wave my arms in the air, almost losing my balance. His strong hands catching me before I fall into the cool water of the river. I feel my heart racing the moment his skin touches mine and pulls away slightly, walking on.
