~Azula~
She was in the room, and she was the opposite from okay, pacing desperately. No one could fathom the things that were going on inside her head, she just wanted to be okay, to finally quiet the voices that seemed to get louder. The doubt sank in like a struggling animal In quicksand. She didn’t know what this prophecy wanted from her, or what it wanted her to be.
She had a week and she planned on using it all, starting right this moment beginning with the books again. She had finally found a name she knew…. Zilarra Chandra was the one who wrote this book, and that disturbed her because not only was she the one who wrote this book…. She was the Seer that gave out the prophecy. Picking up the map once more as she observed it, lighting it up with her blue flames once more, searching in greater detail than she had before spotting a very very small detail that went unnoticed in her haste.
A small silvery glossed moon icon was imprinted into the map, she looked at the small marking curiously before managing to hold up the map and putting her flame behind it to illuminate it better, but when her magic cast behind the silver moon a projection was given shadows of coordinates littered the wall. Her eyes widened as she quickly wrote them down on the inside of the cover of the book.
She heard the footsteps, quickly putting everything away and moving to the couch closing her eyes as she pretended to be asleep as the door opened. Somehow managing to stay still as he came to her, he stroked her hair gently before picking her up and laying her on the bed. Her shoes having been removed the rest of her clothes followed as she felt him put her into one of his T-shirts before she finally felt the bed dip as she was shifted to lay on top of him.
Still, she fought to pretend she was asleep, his hands running through her hair, her cheek placed rather comfortably on the center of his chest. The scent of Cedar and books caused her to relax further. Now she really was about to fall asleep, his voice low as he spoke.
“I know you are upset with me” he murmured to her.
“Just as much as I know you are awake,” oops she had totally been caught.
“I’m sorry for getting upset earlier” he kissed the top of her head as she decided to forgive him at least for now in this moment as she snuggled in deeper.
But she was going to have to visit that seer…. She didn’t know how …. But she did know the name Zilarra Chandra meant Silver Moon and the silver moon icon on the map gave her coordinates. If he truly marked her forcefully then he would be able to track her…. Hopefully, the week didn’t go by fast. If push came to shove she would have to leave to see the seer before her week was up managing to peacefully fall asleep.
He didn’t wake her for training this morning, which caused her to make a confused noise as she felt around on the empty bed. It was cold so he had been gone for quite some time. Rolling over as she looked at the time to see it was 10am, sitting up tiredly as she replayed everything that happened yesterday. So much had happened in such a short amount of time. She allowed herself to lay around in bed for five more minutes before getting up to throw on the most unflattering outfit.
Sweatpants and one of his hoodies she found hanging up. She had missed dinner yet again and she decided brunch would do her some good moving into the kitchen pausing at the sight of Ysabel cooking up a storm as she moved to observe her working silently. The adorable omega was dancing about as she cooked and somehow didn’t even notice she was watching.
Ysabel finally did a 360 turn, yelping like an injured dog when she found out she was being watched. A bright blush dancing across her features as she bounced on her heels.
“Morning Luna! I’m just making you some food!” She smiled as her eyes softened moving to observe the breakfast burrito’s it was so incredibly thoughtful of her.
“Just call me Azula,” she said patting the woman’s head adoringly “thank you for making me food, here let me help,” she said as she moved to the fillings beginning to craft another catching Ysabel’s smile as she gave one in return as they got to know each other a bit more while making food.
Somehow brunch turned into them sitting across the table trying to throw food into each other’s mouths, Ysabel had amazing aim, she couldn’t speak for herself though because she was absolutely terrible. She had just managed to catch another bite from Ysabel when Vulcan and Odette both entered the kitchen. She couldn’t help the way her heart ached at the sight of their sweaty forms, what had happened?
“Vulcan?” She asked softly as he came to scoop her up bridal style.
“Yes my dear mate” he purred as she tried to wiggle out his his arms.
“You are sweaty put me down.” She demanded trying to Ignore Odette’s jealous gaze.
“Have you showered yet?” He cooed,
“No” she said nervously eyeing him as he hugged her tighter rubbing his face against her as she cringed but finally gave in hugging him.
She couldn’t help but smile softly at his soft contented sigh, “well since you haven’t showered, and I haven’t showered, I think the most practical thing to do is to shower together.” He hoisted her up to hang her over his shoulder his hand coming down on her ass with a loud smack as she looked at Ysabel helplessly.
Who only smiled and waved, taken to the room and straight to the bathroom as she was sat on the bathroom counter.
Her heart raced dangerously as she watched him pull off his shirt, turning to her as his lips captured hers. She had missed the feeling as she growled with need, pulling him closer as he slipped his tongue inside her mouth causing her to moan softly, he used that as an invitation to deepen the kiss his tongue moving feverishly with hers, fighting for dominance.
Her hands moved to let his hair down as she gripped it tightly, his hand moving up and down her body as if to lock every single curve into his memory before spreading her legs slightly with his knee. Finally breaking the kiss as he held her gaze breathing in her arousal as she blushed… he finished stripping and her heart jumped into her throat.
He was … magnificent, he reached out taking her hand to help her off the counter to taking a stand back his hungry gaze roaming her body.
“Strip for me”
And she did.
