Jacob  Ciaran had woken me early this morning. He was hyper, which I could understand after his revolution yesterday. He’d proposed out of the blue. Now he was eager to get up and out of bed after pounding into me for six hours straight, not gently but as hard as he could to thank me for making him the happiest man on earth and for agreeing to his proposal. “Wake up baby, we’ve got tons to do today,” he said in between kisses. I hummed. “Come on Jakey. We’ve got so much to do. First we’ve got to get our engagement rings, then we’ve got to go to the registrar to book a date, then we can eat, then we can go shopping.
