It’s been two months since we’ve been trying to locate Claudia. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It was like she had disappeared off the face of the earth, either that or she didn’t want to be found.
I knocked on Domenic’s door. He shouted for me to come in. He was also pulling his hair out at this point. Neither of us knew what to do or which way to turn for the best. Soon we’d have to give up and realize that we had lost her forever. It was what we both deserved after the s**t we had both pulled.
I opened the door and stepped in, closing it. Domenic was on the phone as I waited silently. He ended the call, looking at me grinning from ear to ear. “We have a lead.”
I smiled widely.
“Levi’s mother has a station in Queensland.”
“So are we heading there?”
