Inside the main house, the party was still in full swing. Amber felt uncomfortable, she felt like all eyes were on her and everyone knew what she had just done with Nick in the stables.
Even though she grabbed some lemonade, she still could not slow down her heart rate— she felt so exposed and she felt even worse, knowing that she had just left Nick alone and naked in the stables.
What if someone saw him? Amber mentally asked herself, afraid that he might be left embarrassed if anyone were to find him in such a compromising situation. Amber quickly grabbed a chair because she suddenly felt dizzy; perhaps all the noise was beginning to get to her.
