Much to my surprise, Declan joined us for dinner. Elliot had managed to drink without hurting me today, but I still couldn’t say that I was exactly looking forward to the dinner that always followed. It was awkward and unnecessary, even though his aim was to ‘thank me’. He shouldn’t be thanking me for something he was forcing me into doing, it wasn’t exactly like they gave me the option to say no. I was given some sandwiches, while Declan had steak with fries and Elliot just had his cup with wine and blood in front of him.
