In the spirit of peace, Aris and I didn’t continue our conversation about me turning into a werewolf or on any possible pregnancies. It was quickly put into the back of both our minds anyway, because the following day we had important guests coming by. For once, we would be hosting the alphas and the lunas together for dinner.
Aris wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to his chest. I couldn’t stop the smile from appearing on my lips, but through the tall mirror in front of us I could see him smiling too. To keep up with my human prudeness, he had waited for my handmaidens to leave the room before touching me, it only made me smile wider.
“You look beautiful, my queen.” He whispered into my ear.
My satin dress was dark green, as were the small details in Aris’ outfit, a
