Getting back to the pack-house, Chance is waiting for them. "Dinner is almost ready," he says kissing Katie and then the pups.

Katie looks at Chance, "How is that possible?"
Chase leans into her ear, "We will discuss this in the residence."

"Enough," Katie orders them both. "So the pups will develop faster because I am the breeder. Their mates will also? How would anyone know they are mates? They are too young."
"The breeder is important, her pups are meant to save our kind. The pup's development will be hard to hide, people will start figuring out who you are soon. Every breeder that came before you were kidnapped, impregnated by someone other than their mate."

Taking her by the hand he walked down to his office after telling Chase to follow them.
