Chapter 4The sky wasn’t clear by the morning, but it did stop snowing around lunch. All four of the cabin’s occupants watched the world through the window, staring at the blue sky and the pristine mountains of snow with longing. Woody was practically climbing the walls, and Leon was getting more grouchy, despite the fact he couldn’t go outside regardless the weather. Kenneth was the only one who felt a vague stab of disappointment. He liked their forced proximity—had even enjoyed it quite a bit.
