"Damn it! It's so hot," Ivory's whiny, irritating voice prompted me to sullenly open my eyes, which literally was no less than an ordeal because, oh man, it hurts. The mere attempt made a jolting pain flood through my temples. They were throbbing so hard that I could almost hear the pounding.
