Ryker
I have been walking around for the last three hours. I was tempted, more than once to stop in at a bar, but I stopped myself. I knew if I started drinking, I wouldn’t stop until my body couldn’t take anymore, and when I get that drunk, I do stupid things. I don’t even want to take that risk, but if I did something like cheat on Alena, I would never forgive myself, and the last thing I want is to hurt her. I like to think I am not like that anymore, but alcohol and I do not mix well. It turns me into someone that I am not.
I knew it in my gut; it was my dad that was doing this. I do not have a single doubt, and if he mentions Alena again, I will personally go after him. He is not bringing her into this, because if he does, I will not be held responsible for my action. I needed a plan. I need this to stop! I sighed and decided to head back to the hotel. I needed to be with Alena right now. I don’t know why I left her. I should never have done that because I know she will be worried sick.
I found my way back to the hotel and headed to our room. I wasn’t sure if she would still be awake, it was two a.m.
“Ryker, there you,” She said the moment I walked in the door.
She rushed over to me, wrapping her arms around my neck.
“I was worried,” She whimpered.
The sound of her whimper broke my heart.
“I am sorry, my love, I never meant to worry you,” I said, wrapping my arms tightly around her, and holding her to my chest, “I love you so much, Alena,” I added, stroking her hair.
“I love you too,” She said, looking up at me, “Are you OK?” She added.
I could see it in her eyes that she has been crying.
“Not really, but I will be,” I said softly, “I never had a drink,” I added, stroking her face.
“I am glad you never,” She said honestly, “You are going to be OK, my love. I am right here,” She added, kissing me softly.
I kissed her back and led her over to the bed. I just wanted to lay down and have Alena close to me. We pulled away from the kiss and lay down on the bed, facing each other.
“You have been crying,” I said, sadly.
“Yes, I was worried that you weren’t OK,” She said.
“I am sorry, beautiful. I never wanted to upset you,” I sighed.
“It’s OK, the main thing is you are here, sober and safe,” She said, snuggling into my chest.
I wrapped her tightly in my arms, holding her as close to me as I could. I was scared all of this would get too much, and she would up and leave. I wouldn’t blame her, but the thought of it was enough to make a grown-ass man cry. It would destroy me to the extent of no return if that happened.
A silence came into the room, no word being said from either of us, but even without words, I knew she was right here for me.
“Maybe I should just tell everyone the truth, tell them who I really am,” I said after a long silence.
Alena lifted her head to look at me.
“Is that what you want to do?” She asked.
“I have been thinking about it, but I don’t know if it is the best idea,” I sighed.
“Ryker, my love, only you can make that decision,” Alena said softly, “And whatever you decided to do I will be right by your side,” She added.
“Thank you,” I said, pressing my lips over hers.
I wanted to forget everything else right now. All I wanted to do was kiss my beautiful girlfriend. My mind can’t take any more thinking and worrying right now. Alena whimpered and melted into my lips, slipping her fingers into my hair, and playing with it as we shared a passionate, intimate kiss. Her lips were enough to make me forget about everything else. We just lay there, kissing for the next ten minutes, nothing more, but still, it was enough.
I pulled away first because I wanted to ask her something.
“Alena?” I asked.
“Yeah, babe?” She said, opening her eyes to look at me.
“I was thinking, um, see once this tour is over, do you want to, um instead of going back to your place, come and stay with me?” I asked nervously.
“You want me to move in with you?” She asked.
“Yes, but if you aren’t ready and it is too soon, I will understand,” I said rambling on.
Alena giggled and silenced me with her lips, only for a moment to stop me from rambling.
“I would love that,” She said, smiling, “Well if you still want me by the end of the tour,” She added giggling.
“I will always want you, sweetheart, nothing will ever change that,” I said, smiling.
“Then yes, I will move in with you, Ryker,” She said.
I couldn’t stop from smiling brightly when she gave me her answer. I have been thinking about it a lot recently. I would miss her too much if we stayed in separate places after the tour was over. I enjoyed having her next to me every night and waking up to her every morning. I don’t think it would feel right if we are apart.
“Good, because it would be strange if we were apart,” I said, honestly.
“Yes, it would be,” She said, “I would miss you terribly,” She added, pouted.
“Aww, baby girl, you will never have to miss me,” I said, kissing her pouty lips.
The pout was not a pout for long, because it soon turned into a smile.
I may need to make a few changes to my places, and Alena can help because it is such an obvious bachelors place, and I want it to feel like hers as much as it does mine. We can think about all that at a late date because we still had the rest of the tour before heading home. Knowing she is going to move in with me was more than enough right now.
“We should try and get some rest. It is already so late,” Alena said.
“Yes, good idea,” I smiled, “I am exhausted,” I added.
“Me too, tomorrow is a new day,” She said, kissing me softly, “I love you, Ryker, so much,” She added.
“I love you too, more than you will ever know,” I said.
Alena was already in her pjs, well in one of my tees and a pair of my boxers. I stripped down, pulling some bottoms on. We got snuggled up in bed, Alena drifting off first. I watched her for a moment before letting myself drift off.
I can only hope that tomorrow is a better day, and something can get sorted. I don’t want to let any of this ruin this tour for us, for Alena.
