Ryker
It felt good, just relaxing and letting lose for the day, without anyone bothering us. I was glad to see Alena smiling and laughing. She has been quite sad and quiet recently because of everything that had been going on. I was trying my best not to blow up at the people who had been making her feel bad, but she asked me not to. It was hard to ignore it, though, because I hated knowing it was some of my fans that were making her feel this way. Though, today none of us were letting it bother us.
“I think I want to go swimming, anyone coming with me? I have had enough sunbathing,” Alena said, standing up.
“I will come with you, baby girl,” I smiled.
“Yay, come on then,” She giggled, extending her hand to me.
I took hold of it, and she pulled me to my feet, pulling me in against her. Alena stole a quick kiss and used her hold on my hand to pull me towards the ocean.
“I love the ocean, and swimming,” She gushed.
“It has been a while since I have swum in the ocean, to be honest,” I said.
“Well, now is the time,” She said.
We arrived at the water, Alena diving in first as soon as it was deep enough and started swimming out, swimming away from me. I was quick to follow, but it took a few minutes because she was a fast swimmer.
“Slow down, woman,” I chuckled, slipping my arms around her from behind.
“Swim faster,” She giggled, turning to face me.
“OK, smartass,” I laughed, using her waist to pull her close to me.
Alena laughed loudly, sticking her tongue at me and then kissed me softly. I smiled, wrapping her in my arms. I was crazy about this woman. And I am petrified that something or someone or I am going to ruin it.
“Now come on, I want to go over there,” She said excitedly.
She was pointing at large rocks that were further out.
“I don’t know if I can make it over there,” I laughed, “It has been a while since I have swum,” I added.
“You will be fine,” She said, “If not, you have me, I am a solid swimmer, I will help you, my love,” She added, giggling.
“You are lucky that I trust you,” I said.
“I should hope so,” She smiled, “Now come on,” She added.
She was adamant; I will give her that. She kept close to me as we made our way over. By the time we got there, I was exhausted. Alena was still full of energy. She climbed up on rocks, giving me a hand up.
“You doing alright there, baby?” Alena giggled.
I collapsed down against the rocks, holding my finger up to signal a minute. I needed a minute to catch my breath. Alena, shook her head, laughing at me.
“Stop being mean,” I pouted.
“You work out; you shouldn’t be this tired after a swim,” She snickered.
“Swimming is harder than working out at the gym,” I chuckled.
“Maybe, but look around, it was worth it,” She said.
I sat up, looking at the view surrounding us, and it was breath-taking.
“Yes, for sure, it is beautiful,” I said.
Before Alena, I never did things like this. I never paid attention to the world around me. I was too busy partying, taking drugs and screwing around to notice. I have missed so much up until now. I have been around the world more than once, but never really saw it. But, since Alena came into my life, I see everything different. I realise there is more to life than partying, drugs and casual s*x.
“See, life is better when you open your eyes, and see,” Alena smiled, resting her head on my shoulder.
“Yes, it is, I can’t wait to see the world with you,” I said, kissing the top of her head, “I love you,” I added.
“I can’t wait either, it is going to be incredible,” She said, looking up at me, with the biggest smile playing on her lips, “I love you too,” She added.
I never thought I would have a reason to want to enjoy the world, something that was worth wakening up for every morning. Alena has given me a reason to do both.
“Where are you most excited to see?” I asked.
“So many places, Paris, Italy, London, Scotland, and that is only to name a few,” She said, her eyes lighting up as she did.
“Italy is beautiful, but so is Scotland, even though it is usually always cold and wet when we are there,” I laughed, “But it is all part of the charm,” I added.
“Yes, I can’t wait to see it,” She said.
I wonder to myself at night, what could happen, and what could change as this tour goes on. I had imagined many things, but I will keep those to myself for the moment.
Alena and I sat in silence; it was a peaceful one. The sound of the ocean was relaxing too. I turned my attention to Alena; she was distracted by looking at the sea, a beautiful smile on her lips. I was so in love her, and it was all still surreal. I never knew I was capable of loving someone like this.
“Alena?” I said softly.
She slowly turned around to face me.
“Yeah?” She asked.
“Thank you,” I said, reaching for her hand.
“For what?” She asked, confused.
“Just for being you, for giving me a chance,” I smiled.
“Aww, that is very sweet, but you need to stop thanking me,” She said, “I love you, and nothing will change that,” She added, kissing me.
“I can’t help it,” I said, “I don’t think you realise how much you have already changed my life in such a short time,” I added.
I know I have told her all of this a million times, but I need to make sure she knows. I like to let her know what she means to me, and how much of an impact she has made in my life.
“And you have changed mine too,” She said.
We sat for the next half an hour, just enjoying the peaceful surroundings before we decided to head back and join everyone else. It was good just to get away for a bit, the two of us away from it all.
“We should do this more often, getaway, only us when we can,” I said, as we arrived back to shore.
“That sounds perfect, my love,” She smiled, slipping her hand into mine.
I am hoping when this tour comes to an end, we can get a vacation. No work, no worries, just us relaxing and having fun. Another thing I am hoping, she will agree to move in with me. We won’t be home for at least five months, so it gave us time, and it wouldn’t be too soon, but we will see how it goes. We are practically living together anyway on the road.
“Yes, it does,” I said, stealing one last kiss before we joined everyone else.
I was looking forward to the rest of the day before we have to get back on the road to our next stop.
