I am helpless as I watch Aria leaves my office. My body is still tingling from where she touched me, and I am yearning for more. So much more.
“Harvey?” Sandra’s pleading pulls me back to reality and I look at her with irritation.
“Please leave,” I sigh and go sit behind my desk. Maybe if I drown myself in work, I will forget how soft and warm Aria’s skin was against mine. If I concentrate hard enough on this deal, I might forget how I can tell what she thinks by the look in her eyes even before she says the words.
“Did I do something wrong?” Sandra is close to tears as she throws herself at my feet and looks at me in utter desperation. “Just tell me, I can fix it.”
