CHAPTER FIFTEEN As sunlight stole through cracks in the wooden blinds, Dani stretched her arms over her head. She hadn’t been this rested in months. No doubt a real mattress, complete with a pillow top, and not the hard fold-out sofa made the difference. She enjoyed resting on a cloud—okay, this bed. Did Bryce have the same one? Dani smiled, hoping he slept as well as she had. She owed him a home-cooked breakfast for his hospitality. She appreciated how he respected her for wanting to go slow. She’d never felt so comfortable around someone she hadn’t known for long. And for all her talk of not wanting a boyfriend, he made her reconsider. Time to get out of bed.
