INTRODUCTION WITH THE MAFIA

1297 Words
Belinda told me that someone wants to meet me, and I wonder who this person could be. I don’t remember anyone who knows me here, beside Isabelle, but I don’t think so that she will find me here when I was working inside the kitchen for a whole day. “Who?” I ask surprisingly and a heard a voice from my behind. “me!” a  sensuous, smooth and supercilious voice say. I turn around to look at the person and my eyes widen to see a young, gorgeous and handsome man in an expensive suit. I never drool over boys but there is something about this guy which oddly attracts me to him. I can’t take my eyes from him, and he notices me from head to toe as well. He taps with his shoes and my thoughts get clear. I look straight at him with a confused expression on my face. “How can I help you?” I ask directly. He chuckles and asks Belinda to leave two of us alone, “Belinda darling! Please give us some space. I need to talk to her privately.” He puts pressure on the word privately and his Italian accent comes out. Saying no word, Belinda turns her heel outside the room, leaving us alone. I figure it out that they know this guy to her and she does not want to mess with him. Belinda warned me about getting into trouble because I messed with those men outside the café. “you! what are you?” he asks. “sorry? I didn’t get your point.” I say. He went to sit on the couch with his right foot on his left knees and his eyes piercing through me, “you are a girl! I thought a bouncer kind of man knocked out my men outside this beautiful café.” I got it and now I know that he is actually the leader of a gang and I burned out his men. I cross my arms below my chest and look forwardly at him. “Sorry for your loss, but your men tried threatening a poor guy. I just helped him.” I state. “How long do you know about my business?” he asks dangerously low. “what kind of question is this? Why would I know about your businesses? That’s not my job!” I roll my eyes at him. “that’s the point! If you don’t know about my business, then you have no right to mess it!” his anger bursts. “I did what I thought was right that time. What will you get from that poor man? He was so poor and I think he barely makes enough money to afford a meal!” I yell. He stands up and approaches me, “if I think like you then I wouldn’t be ruling over Tirana.” He grabs my chin and speaks at my face. I grab his arm and throws it away, “don’t dare to touch me!” I warn him. He chuckles and says, “I am the one you make rules here. I will touch anything I want!” I look at him with disgust, “sorry, but no one can tame me by his rules. I am not an ordinary girl you just met in a café.” “Really?” he asks suspiciously, “then show me what kind of girl you are?” his voice lingers like a melody to my ear. I look fearlessly into his eyes and my hands move like a snake around his waist. He smirks while looking at me, and I can relate what exactly is running in his mind. I made him think that way. I smirk back at him while moving my hands up and down on his chest. He let me do what I was doing, but he has no idea what I am going to do. I find what I was looking for and grab the gun from his back pocket. I step back and push him while aim the gun at him. His excitement turns into his biggest horror as I see his color getting fade. He turns pale and his mischievous smile disappears. “I am not any girl!” I state and he nods his head slightly. “I never wanted any girl for me. You are the one I was looking for, you are perfect.” He smiles wickedly while grab the gun and aiming it on his face. “Shoot me.” he shouts. My hands shake badly and I feel my legs turn into jelly as they will give up anytime. “why hesitating? Shoot me if you can.” He yells, but I can’t. “I can’t!” I cry. He chuckles and snatches the gun from me, “I want you to change this attitude. When you will meet me next time, I want to see some serious changes in you.” “By the way, I am Antonio Bianchi. You will remember my name.” he gives his name before leaving the room. I exhale a sigh of relief and take a seat on the nearby chair. Suddenly, Belinda and Reign gets inside and they look at me with a horrified expression. “are you okay? Did he hurt you?” Belinda asks. “Nope! I am fine!” I inform them and she breathes heart fully. “Oh, my god! I was scared for you! You shouldn’t have messed with his men. He is Antonio Bianchi, the most dangerous Mafia leader in Tirana. “and he is hot too.” Reign appreciate his beauty. I scrunch my nose and avert my gaze. “what did he said to you?” Belinda asks and Antonio’s words roam inside my head. I am not sure if I should tell her about him or not. What if she fires me on the first day of my job? I am homeless and I don’t have any place to go. “Nothing! He just warned me not mess with his business next time” I lie. “okay! I think you must have learned your lesson. Never try to mess with these dangerous guys. They will not hesitate to kill you.” Belinda warns, and I nod my head in agreement. “Now get back to work.” She orders me and I leave the room. I did my job quietly as I was busy in solving the knots inside my head. I am still confused about that Mafia’s proposal. What did he finds in a girl like me? Focus and forget about him, Illona. I have other things to concern about, like my mother’s history. My job is done for today and the café is closed for the night. Belinda and Reign left the café and asked me to drop me at my place. I refused their offer and told them that I am good. I don’t want to trouble them anymore, so right now; I am sitting on a bench in the park. Think deeply, where should I go? At least I was not worried about this, I knew I have to go back to my cell. I was lost in my own thoughts when a figure approaches me. I did not notice him on the time and he places a piece of cloth over my mouth. I struggle and retaliate to escape but till that time, the chloroform I inhaled start working and I was consumed in the darkness.
