Today is the day…where I will finally cut ties with my pack. I can still sense them… our bond but since I am far from them I can't communicate with them. My Wolf has been moody since we woke up, she kept chanting about that rainy scent she caught last night, and ever since then, she sounds depressed. "Are you ready for tonight Zozo?" Addy asked. I looked at him and everyone on the table and back at him. Shaking my head I answered him "Not really…" he nodded and seeing that my uncle looked worried I said," But with you guys there I am sure all will be fine." "Of course, you will be… I am a good friend of the Alpha, I will just tell him to go easy on you." Everyone laughed at the table and Aunty said "Since when are you the Alpha's friend?" "Mom…l can't be telling you everything about my life now!" We all laughed at his statement. "Pfft…" my aunt rolled her eyes at her son and looked at me. "How did you sleep, Zoe?" "Well, I slept okay, it's just that Storm has been depressed since she caught a scent, I was-" I was interrupted by Levi. "What's with scents?" "What do you mean?" Uncle asked him confused as my aunt and I. He shook his head… "Last night Alpha scolded me for some scent coming from me saying it distracted his Wolf." Huh… "Aunt Sheila…thank you for breakfast, the pancakes were amazing," I said as I took my final bite. "Mom didn't make this Cuz…" I looked at Levi and saw him grinning. Turning to my aunt she shook her head and said "Levi made breakfast." I looked at my cousin who was all proud. "Wow… Bro, your mate won't go hungry at all in the future." He smirked and said… "I know right." I rolled my eyes and took my plate to the kitchen. "Zozo…you don't have to wash the dishes." My aunt said as she walked in after me, with my uncle on her tail. "Yah… Just settle in, I got this…" he added as he took the cloth on top of the table. "Zozo, can you come and play with my action figures with me?" Addy said as he lick his fingers. "Wow… Thank you Ad, I will really appreciate it… But I was hoping to take my wolf for a run!" I told and he seemed sad. "Sorry sis, you can't go for a run until you become one of us." he said as he folded his arms and leaned on the kitchen door frame. "why not?" "Rules of the Pack…" I shrugged my shoulders… This sucks… "Okay then… I guess I will be playing with Ad today." "Yaay…" the little guy got excited.

"That's settled…" Levi said and came to give me a hug and a kiss on my cheek and did the same to Aunt and gave his dad and brother a high five. "I will see you just before the ceremony." "Where are you going?" I asked, seeing that he was about to leave. "Keith wants us to go for a run… And talk some Pack stuff since I didn't brief him of anything last night." Lucky fish… …

Time really flies when you get to play dungeons and dragons with my cousin, and I must say it's quite interesting. Apparently, he has been planning for my arrival so that he can play all these kinds of games with me and video games as well so that I won't be sad and miss my mom and dad. Since I don't have many things to do until my online classes start, I guess I will spend as much time with my cousin as I can. "Hey, Zozo do you want me to assist with dolling you up?" My aunt walked into my room and as soon as she got in she found me staring at her. "Ohhh sorry, I should have knocked first." she clapped her hands and blushed. I waved my hands and smiled "It's Okay… I am actually shocked that you want to help me with make-up." She giggled and said, "I know I am not Scar pro… But I can try as long as you guide me, I know you are as good as her right?" I giggled and said, "No one is as good as mom… Even I can't compete with her, dad did try as he had to do my makeup when mom came to visit you." She laughed and said, "Yah I saw those pictures…Your mom was so upset with your dad that he overdid it with the blush." We all laughed and I gave her the towel and said, "Well, she told me that you are the queen of hair dress" "Yes I am…" I took my seat in front of the vanity. "I'm glad you came with Zozo, your uncle was so worried that you wouldn't want to stay with us." She held my shoulders and smiled at me. I held her hand that was on my right shoulder and said, "Am glad I came too…" "Okay...now let's talk about your hair, how do you want it to be?" she asked as she took a comb from the table. "Well, as I was thinking of not having heavy make-up, I was thinking of having a simple hairstyle as well… What do you think?" I asked her and she nodded. "Okay… That could do as well since you are not as plastic as the girls your age here." I chuckled at her words and she laughed out loud. "Don't laugh, I am being serious here…Anyway you will see what I am talking about once you see them."

"No...no...I will take your word for it." I waved my hands at her. I was finally done and couldn't help but admire myself…

My aunt just went with a bun for my brown hair, and as for my makeup I went with a light one, my lashes were all curled and my blue eyes were popping. I wore a simple black dress that hugged my hourglass figure perfectly…I took my mom's gorgeous body with my dad's eyes. "Okay, guys… We can't afford to be late as we are the main leads of what's happening tonight." My uncle shouted I took my phone and lip bump and walked out of my room. We took uncle's car and got inside his Mercedes. I remembered that my cars are still not here yet. "Das, why do we have to drive to the Packhouse while we can just walk?" "because Ad, your mother, and sister are wearing heels and you do not want to mess with a woman's heels." My uncle answered and Addy just sighed…"women are too much… especially mom!" "Heyyyyyyy…" my aunt retorted Addy turned his face to look at her… "am I lying?" My aunt just pouted. *Ding…* I looked at my phone and saw a message from Val. "Good luck tonight sweetie… Call after the ceremony." I smiled and sent a thumbs-up emoji. We were now in front of the Packhouse and it hasn't changed from the last time I saw it. Just like last night… The rainy musky scent came. I took in the smell and my wolf woke up feeling restless… " Zozo… do you smell that?" She whispered and looked around us. "Yah…" I told her and she started to spin around. "Easy girl…what is it?" Before she could answer, my uncle led us inside the Packhouse.
