The moment it grazed her neck, she felt him pause and then he pulled away. There was a red glow in his eyes and Sylvia recognized it. It was not his wolf but something else.

Sylvia didn't know what she felt at that moment as different emotions flashed through her eyes. Just now, she was going to use her powers on him but thankfully he got back himself before she could gather the energy around or she didn't know what would have happened.
