Shackleton Fitz IV paced the center aisle of the seating area of his father"s personal shuttle, shoving chip after chip into his mouth. As if eating faster would make the shuttle fly faster. Well, they weren"t so much chips as fritters, thick slices of the starchy root vegetable called kyaw that only grew on the planet Nisi. The vegetable itself had a certain sweetness to it that became more pronounced when fried and was complemented well by the generous coating of salt. He paused to fold down the top of the bag again and shake the contents to redistribute the seasoning before putting another slice in his mouth. They were almost better cold than they were warm.
