CHAPTER 3 - Slutty Secretary

Katelyn POV

As soon as I reached home, I felt my phone ringing. I took out my phone from my handbag and saw Lucas calling. “Did you pass the interview?” He asked sternly. My heart beats rapidly on my ribcage.  “Lucas… Yes, I got the job, but I will be under probation for six months. ” I informed him composedly. “I knew that bastard will give you the job. Consider your first mission accomplished. Now you only have 99 days left. Use it wisely!” then he hung up the phone. I dropped my body to my bed and looked at the ceiling. Suddenly, Mason’s image came to my mind. How he looked fierce yet attractive at the same time. The way his lips pouted when he was unsure about something. I sighed. I don’t know anything about seducing a man. For 25 years I lived, I only had a history of dating one man, which also didn’t end well. He cheated on me with his coworker at the office. I tossed and turned in my bed, unable to sleep. Hopefully, tomorrow I can survive at work.

I was still in a deep sleep when my phone ringtone startled me. I groan and pick up the call without looking. “Ms.Page, Where are you?” He shouts angrily from the other side. His voice made me sober. I glance at my alarm clock. It was 9 am! s**t! I forgot to set the alarm last night. “I’m on my way, Mr.Prince.” I jumped off the bed, then he said. “I give you 30 mins to get here or just forget about our contract, Ms. Page.” I quickly put on the first clothes that I can possibly grab. It was a red bodycon dress. A little bit too much for work, but I don’t have time to change into other clothes. I finally reach Princeton in 25 mins. I tried to catch my breath before knocking on Mason’s room. My hands were about to touch the door, but it stopped at mid-air when I suddenly heard his voice from behind me, “ Kate! We had a meeting now. Bring me coffee.” He ordered, then left to the meeting room.

It took me 10 min to locate the pantry and made coffee. I rushed to the meeting room with coffee and a notebook in my hands. There are three men inside the room. Two of them gave me a perverted look, and the other one busy talking with Mason. I still didn’t get used to this kind of attention. I didn’t notice the projector cable on the floor and stumbled fall. The coffee was spilled directly to Mason’s lap. My eyes widened in fear. I quickly took the tissue and wiped it off. “s**t! What are you doing? Come with me!” he grabs my hand and pulls me harshly. “Excuse me for a sec, gentlemen…”. As soon as we reach his room, he throws me to the wall—both of his arms trapping me. “ Don’t make me regret hiring you, Ms. Page! You’re late on the first day. Then you showed up in that distracting dress and spilled coffee at me. Don’t you remember what I say yesterday about dressing properly? Do I need to remind you?” He asked angrily.  I suddenly felt a heat crawled at my skin because of our close proximity. “I am sorry, Mr.Prince. I wasn’t normally behaving this way,” I said and looked away to the floor. He lifts up my chin and whispers to me, “I have to warn you, Be careful with your hands! Ms.Kate…What you did earlier… aroused me.” I found my heart stopped beating at his statement. He then removes his hands from me and leaves me in the room alone. I let out a deep breath. His words took me by surprise. He said that I was arousing him? It was not my intention, but I think it can benefit me somehow.

Eventually, I didn’t come back to join the meeting. I saw them coming out of the room an hour later. One of them shook Mason’s hand with a smiled on his face. Seems like the meeting went well, except for the accident that I had earlier. Mason looked in my direction and called me with his hand signaling me to come closer. “Mr.Thompson…This is my new secretary, Ms. Page” Mason introduce me to the older man beside him. Mr.Thompson smiled then talked to his other guy. “Nice to meet you, Ms. Page. Jeremy, my secretary, will send Ms.Page the contract that we have discussed earlier.” He told me. Apparently, one of the perverted men was his secretary. “Noted, sir. Ms. Page, can I get your contact number?” He asked while observing me, His stares gave me a chill. Mason seemed to notice it as well, “Mr. Thompson, I would appreciate it if your employee can stop ogling at my secretary. Please just send it to my email.” Mason stated in anger, then grabbed my waist. I unconsciously hold my breath.

The rest of the day, Mason keeps telling me about his schedule and giving me a pile of work. It amazed me when I saw how packed his schedule. He will have a dinner meeting with a Japanese company regarding new software that needs to be developed even tonight. “Ms. Page, This is the password for Princeton’s system. This is highly confidential, and you can’t give it to anyone.” Mason said while writing on a piece of paper. “Well noted, Mr. Prince.” This is what Lucas is looking for. I put it on my bag securely. I was able to finally finished my job today at 7pm. I stretched out my body and closed my computer. Mason was still working in his office. I remind him about the dinner meeting, then he said I could leave first. I was still in the Princeton lobby when I saw Jeremy waiting outside. He was approaching me. I can feel that his intention is not good. “Kate, I was waiting for you…” he said to me. “I have received your email from Mr.Prince, Jeremy. Thanks, I have to go now.” I said coldly. He smirked then pull me to the side of the building. “What are you doing? What do you want from me?” I shoved his hands. I’m starting to freak out.

“I didn’t want to discuss work now. How about we have a little fun?” He said while cupping my cheek. I shoved his hands and kicked one of his legs. “Ouch! Such a feisty one, aren’t you? I knew you were using your body to get this job. Tell me how much Mason pays you? I can pay you higher.” He said smugly, his hands still holding me tightly. He then forcefully kiss me. “H-Help..” I wasn’t able to shout out for help. He yanked my dress and started kissing my neck, he’s disgusting! I kicked his crotch this time, and he groans painfully.
