Listen, nonbeliever.

Eva's POV

On the way from Miami to New York, Angie and I talk a lot about our life's, I haven't seen her in at least 2 years and we had a lot to catch up. And I agree with her that I should give Max the benefit of the doubt even though I'm afraid of being used by him or any guy, I must try.

Opening up to a guy after what happens to me the last time is not an easy task, but I must at least try it. Max said he wanted to have dinner tonight and I accept because I think we should have a talk about everything that happens this week.

Max POV

Sometimes I feel like I have OCD about being on time but that's the way I am, besides I can't wait to see Eva, this night should be special and very important for us for the sake of my pack and myself. You see in my world the Luna's are key to the packs and the Alphas. They are the other half and the rock that held the family together. They must care for each member of the pack and make sure that everybody is ok. That's why is so important that I tell Eva who I am and what she means to me.

Eva's POV

Is that Max outside the door. Wait, no that's not Max that's a GQ model in my doorstep that lost his way and ended up here. The doorbell rang and I hurry to open the door I see myself in the mirror of the corridor again and I like what I see, I choose a short and colorful dress and I wore my hair straight with little makeup, if Max doesn't like it I can't do anything about it , this is who I am and he has to like me as I am , I will never change myself for anyone else never again.

When I open the door I think I die and went to Heaven. There is a God in front of me, is not even right for him to be walking on this mundane Earth and his name is called Max Stevens. He is in a grey suit that is fitted to perfection in every inch of his heavenly body. His blue eyes are red now and I don't know he wears contacts or not but I'm kind of worry about it.

-Hi, Max are you ok?

I put myself together and greet him, his eyes looked me up and down my body and he looks like he was ready to eat. I guess I did good with my wardrobe election, I thought to myself smirking at him.

-Hi Angel, god you keep killing me with those curves.

He said in his baritone voice and I swear I'm internally melting down. You know no matter how strong of a person you there’s are always someone who can make you weak and my weakness is Max and I don't even know him yet. What is going on with me I don't know but the energy that I feel towards him is so powerful I just can't deny it.

-Ready?

He asks, and I nod getting out of the house and closing the door, he takes my hand in his and led me to the car. He opens the door and I get inside he walks fast to his side of the car and gets on it too.

-You know I can't get over your car, is so beautiful.

I said to him more like admitting to myself. He smiles at me and start the engine and is powerful you can feel it.

-I'll buy you one, what color do you want it? He says like is nothing, like he's talking about candy or something.

-No thank you I'm going car shopping next Monday.

I said with pride because I make my own money and I don't need a guy buying stuff for me. I guess he didn't like it because his face fell and he got serious.

-I'm coming with you I don't want you to get ripped off.

He said serious and looking to the road.

-Oh, really why, you don't think I can choose a good car by myself.

I said getting annoying by his comment.

-No I know you're very capable of anything, I just want to go with you and help you. He said sounding a little more relaxed now.

-Whatever, you live outside the city I see. I ask looking outside and seeing the forest that surrounds the road.

-Yes, I like the city for work only, I like the tranquility of the forest. He said looking a little tense.

-Oh ok.

I said and start looking out the window trying to stop myself from watching him because he's such an eye candy. I thought I should ask him some questions just to know more about him.

-Do you have siblings?

-Yes, I have a brother and a sister, they're younger than me.

-Do they live here or somewhere else? I keep asking.

-Yes, they live near me. He answers.

-Angel, I need to confess something to you. When he said those words I feel this pain in my chest like whatever he's going to say is not good.

-Ok, what's the matter?

I said keeping my voice calm and waiting for him to talk. I can see that he's fighting with himself and he doesn't say anything. I put my hand on his arm and squeeze giving him some encouragement. His eyes flew to me and his expression relax a little bit.

-Do you believe in supernatural stuff? He asks and honestly I'm lost.

-I'm a werewolf and you're my mate.

-What, have you going crazy or you're playing with me? I ask him starting to laugh about his answers.

-I'm not lying, neither I'm playing with you. Matter of fact your dad knows what we are.

He said sounding a little proud about it and I'm just here confuse like what is going on? I decide to remain silent because I don't believe one single word that's coming from his mouth.

---------Max POV---------

I know that to Eva I might sound out of my mind, but this is the reality. This is my reality and is going to be hers too.

-Listen I know you think I'm crazy but it's true and I'm not joking. I said to her as serious as I can sound because it's true I'm not lying.

-Is that why you're eyes change to red? I knew she would ask me about it.

-Yes, that's my wolf Cruz taking over me.

I said parking my car finally after a 30 minutes’ drive from New York City to my mansion in the middle of pretty much nowhere. I just love the privacy and the woods, so I can let Cruz run wild and the pack's members.

-I'm the Alpha of the Red-Light Pack and this is the pack house.

I said helping her get out the car and showing her the huge mansion in front of us. Is a huge mansion with 3 wings, left wing is for the mated mates, the right wing is for my family members and the middle part is where I live, it has an office in where I held my meetings and work. Half of the right wing is taken by the single wolf who haven't found their mates, I explained to her while walking to the front door. She hasn't said anything, she is just listening.

-Stop lying to me why do you have to come up with something like this? She said yelling at me and I could sense her rage growing.

-Ok, Eva, I guess I have to do this the other way, I wanted to wait till you were ready for Cruz but I guess is better now than later.

I said to her when we step inside the house we were in the living room which is very spacious so I could do what I have in mind. I took her hands and walk her to the right side of the living room and push her to the wall. I move back and started to take my clothes off, I didn't want to ruin my clothes I still wanted to look presentable for her after I'm finished with this. I took my clothes off and I could feel her arousal just from seeing my naked body and I chuckle a little. I took my boxers off and she almost lost it, her eyes were going to fall out of the sockets as she watching me.

-Calm down, Eva. I said to her and she stared into my eyes harder.

-Are you ready?
