Her black satin dress had wisps of black lace whirling around as she danced with some dude in a black velvet coat. She also wore long black lace gloves—exactly like the ones I'd given her. Embedded into her ebony hair was a huge pink bow with black polka dots. If this wasn't Lindee on the dance floor of Arabella's Saloon, I was seeing her double. I surged forward, managed to slip through the throng toward Lindee. Strong arms of the dude in black velvet held her possessively. I wanted to rip the pink ribbon out of her hair and stomp on it.
